Whoever told Trump that increasing tariffs on foreign made goods will help America's economy to grow truly deceived him.

Let's break it down for the common man to understand better.

Over the years, America stopped light industry productions and slammed heavy tax on firms that do that in US just to stop environmental pollution due to carbon monoxide emissions coming from these production plants.

China being a poor struggling economy that found technology damned the consequences of environmental pollution and dived into all forms of manufacturing and production; small, medium and large, and over the years they became the hub of global production couple with their versed population and cheap labor. Most companies relocated their production plants to China that had friendly business environment, cheap labor and reduced tax.

America now go back to China to import those things they need that are now being manufactured mostly in China, and one President wakes up and says he would slam heavy tariff on foreign goods coming into America and he thinks it will favor him?

Chinese firms will simply add the increased tariff to their product cost and sell it to Americans at an increased price, at the end of the day, it is Americans paying the high tariff their President imposed on Chinese made products, you see why Trump isn't reasoning properly on this tariff hike?

The next people that will pay for this are the third world countries and developing countries like Nigeria that depend on second hand goods from America and Europe. As they sell them at higher price after use, Nigerians will buy those second hand goods at higher price.

Just like Tinubu taxing already poor Nigerians to death and thinking he has increased revenue while the masses are dying and companies shutting down due to increased running cost and low patronage.

All these yeye leaders undecided
China is making manufacturing cheaper, so your analysis on second hand goods at higher prices is wrong.

Useless Trump is seeing that his bombastic nature will ruin him and US economy. He has alienated all allies while cozying up to some of the most undesirable leaders around the world. He and Elon Musk are throwing workers into unemployment and sparking potential recession and stock market crash.

Smart republicans, if there are any left, should start distancing themselves from that mad man.

Next election can’t get here soon enough.

Owning libs you said?

All those poor red states already screaming!

Did you hear what happening in Nebraska and West Virginia!

When Trump is done, Republicans won’t get near power for the next 16 years.

Morafvckers finding out!

The USA will be Trump’s 7th bankruptcy
When we told them that guy went bankrupt 6 times, they said but he is a billionaire that is richer than us. We saw a stupid man but they kept singing "Trump my man". By the time he is through with usa, they will take to their heels the next time anyone used the word tariff in their campaign. At this point, it is easy to predict that the next American election will be won by the democrats and it will be a massive landslide.

Nebraska and Michigan farmers already close to bankruptcy and screaming at the top of their voice. Now they know what illegals contribute to the economy.

It’s going to be a long 4 years of finding out.

This is the usual vicious cycle of american politics.
When Republicans are in power, they always bottle American economy, using the country's resources to fight useless wars and causing hardship for their citizens, when the economy is in tatters, they will be voted out and the Democrats will be voted into power to rebuild the economy, after enjoying good economy for eight years, they too will be voted out for Republicans to come and mismanage the economy.
And the cycle continues.....

A female world leader can nuke another country because a woman from there smiled at her husband.

Who would give power to a gender that is known to abuse power?

Reevaluate your “facts” and come back again

It’s 2025, there’s no reason for you to be making asinine comments like this anymore

It was only an exaggeration.
But the fact is clear. Women don’t handle power so well.

Female bosses, female lecturers, women with house maids, wives abroad, and many other women with some sort of power have always abused it.

Imagine the wife of former DG of DSS slapping DSS officers. Women with Police orderlies asking them to do her laundry, Natasha Apoti always falsely accusing men of harassment just to have her way, and many more!

And current state of the world is a clear example of men handling power well?

Pls shush

Imagine the worse things women would have done instead.

Mrs Putin would have used Nuclear weapons on Ukraine early on. Mrs Biden would have invaded Russia.

Infact, we would have been fighting World War 573 by now!

Why imagine? We don’t have to imagine. We already have a few female presidents. How many of them are sending bombs and causing wars all over the world? Oh wait that’s men. Isn’t it?

Thanks for educating those gullible people, I initially thought Africans were the only ones who were dulled, never knew this current crop of Americans were as dumb as hell to vote a dumb folk who has crashed more business than any human on earth as their president.

Because they don’t have that world power.
Where will Mexican president or Danish prime minister see the military strength?

Even your fellow women don’t vote for female candidates!
