If Russia agrees to a ceasefire now, it would be a strategic mistake. They must stay the course as previously stated—anything else would be unacceptable.
But Putin is unpredictable, he always shock everyone like Ukraine in 2014, 2020 and 2024 then Syria in 2015, 2018 and 2020
Ukraine would use the time to rearm, and the Russians know that. That’s why I don’t see them agreeing to a ceasefire.
Someday in the future, but not now.

I think that this is completely unacceptable. Some kind of temporary ceasefire. A temporary truce, the president also spoke about this, is unacceptable.

yep, i think it will be better for putin to accept it even though it may not be favorable (on both sides to be fair) but Russia should push the ceasefire to April, both sides will obviously rearm but the bigger picture is that Russia will still get what it wants during peace talks negotiations, no NATO for Ukraine, no US/NATO troops, conquered lands will be Russia and some few other. At the end Russia will still get what it wants.

Honestly, I really hope that Russia rejects this ceasefire so they can watch the full might of the USA descend on them. Watch how all the noise they made about their gains in Kursk turn to a two week victory. I am ow beginning to connect the dot in Girkin's writings. Trump's approach is a carrot and stick approach. Russia is left with no choice than to accept Trump's unfavourable carrot or risk the big stick.😂😂 On the other hand, if they accept this ceasefire, it further proves they are afraid of the USA.
