That is good..see what competition in the petroleum sector can do..it can bring down the price of fuel and other petroleum products ..that is why competition is good |

Babangidapikin:You are wrong here. Monopoly is the worst thing in economy. Let Dangote face competition at list for the first time and know how it feels. I can assure you, but not this competition from NNPCL, Dangote fuel would go for over 2k per liter. If you doubt me. Checkout Cement price..... |

Dangote... ₦780 is OK. They want to make you look greedy. You can make them look jobless and unwanted too. |

Babangidapikin:This is the confirmation I need that you are indeed a dolt. Again, "no business man will do business at a loss" Dangote didn't come this far with his refinery project to fail. What will happen is that Dangote and the importers will wrestle price until a point where further reduction will incur them terrible loss. That's when they will stop and Nigerians will enjoy the best possible price on PMS. I suspect Dangote will survive but some of the importers will chased out of business. Darwin's law of evolution is at work baby. Sit back and watch. |

ClearFlair:It's a free market. Everyone is free to source from wherever. Thus creates room for fair competition that leads to fair pricing. |
| Re: Marketers Project ₦800/Litre As Imported Petrol’s Cost Drops To ₦774/Litre by Babangidapikin: 9:02am On Mar 12, 2025 |
donsufia:Cement price is going up because Government is over taxing the sector and the currency is not stable to plan long term. Dangote and NNPCL competition is good, provided they don't fail as a company because most of their exposures is going to affect the Nigeria economy adversely if they both fail. |

EponObi:If someone is bringing in stolen refine oil or oil from country that's ready to sabotage your industry, it doesn't matter how much you reduce your price, they will continue bringing in refine oil..the only way to protect your industry is for the regulator to put a stop to it. Don't think refinery in Europe and other countries would stop fighting. You calling me a dolt only shows how low you are up there. |

So far, Tinubu seems to get this petroleum sector reform right At least, we have moved from long queues to fuel attendants actually begging us to buy fuel from them You should see the way they run to attend to me when I drive into AP Ardova station in my hood eh! I notice a bit of relief in cooking gas sector also My cooking gas supplier refilled 12.5 kg for me at the rate of 15k, from 18k As a staunch opposition, I think kudos are in order in this instance |

kokoA:He will still make fantastic profit at N600. Nigerian businesses always aim to make a 100% profit. Some even 200%. In Western, developed countries, a 10% profit will be celebrated. Dangote should go for volume sales. Nigeria is huge. Ikorodu rd in Lagos alone has over 40 filling stations. Just one street. Filling stations are all over the country. PMS will eventually sell between 400 and 500 naira. |

Let them quickly implement it to push Dangote into debt the way he did to them. |
Dangote Refinery’s ₦774/Litre Petrol Cheaper Than Imported Petrol • Fuel Price To Drop Nationwide As Imported Petrol Price Undercuts Dangote Refiner • Marketers Project ₦700/Litre Petrol • 2 • 3 • 4
