The light in my area has always been low and it became worse ever since we moved to single phase meter. My Hisense 200L chest freezer works with gen but doesn’t pick when on nepa. People said we should get a stabilizer, we got a 2kva but same issue, we haven’t had a working freezer for a long time now.
My dad recently bought a new Hisense 300L freezer (he thought it was d old freezer that has fault) but it’s the same issue.
Now we are stuck with two freezers that are not working. Please can someone help me and give me a solution.

The connection in your house is wrong.
The live and the neutral lines were swapped.
You can loose the plug attached to the freezer and swap the live and neutral line or you get an electrician to do it from the SWITCH DB

My Nexus did same that I almost returned it. Had to figure it out myself after I noticed it worked well with generator.

Change this stabilizer. Your input voltage is higher than the output voltage while the reverse should be the case.

That stabilizer is the problem. The Stabilizer output Voltage should be 220v.. But it's showing ~130v which can't power your Freezer.

We have a 1.5 kva stabilizer that powers a smaller fridge. It also doesn’t work well. Do I need to get 5kva stabilizer

You don't need 5kva.
1.5kva or 2kva is suitable for freezer.

your voltage is really low. It has have have output to be about 200 to 230 for your fridge to work well.
