When I read some posts here, i am aghast as to the chunk load of foolishness that is constantly being displayed by our brothers from the other side of the divide..

To me i think its important for the disagreement to a peace deal to come from Ukraine or the west.
Cos let's be honest there's no major military counteroffensive Ukraine can plan out in 30days besides now that they are out of kursk it have weaken the morale already.

If after the ceasefire and no peace deal is signed (which i highly doubt) then Russia will push into sumy and other strategic regions where the US has interests in doing the mineral deal, then there's more parties likely to join the conflict (i think China will increase military support to Russia) turning it to the very ww3 that Trump doesn't want.

Then again the ball is Russia play now, putin has been calm all through the mad biden period do you think it's now a more favorable government is in power he won't make compromises?

You really don't understand.. Steinmar and Macron is fronting this idea of 30 days ceasefire to prepare massively for Ukraine rearmament.. 30 days is a whole lot for over 30 countries to rearm Ukraine even if you exclude US..

Those European are ready to take drastic steps including massive recruitment of mercenaries.. €800b is a lot of money you know..

At this point, nobody cares if Russia is the aggressor or not anymore.
We have seen how they used the ceasefire plan between Isreal and Hezbollah in Lebanon to rearm isreal to the teeth again. Despite isreal not adhering to the ceasefire and using the opportunity to keep encroaching Lebanon.
They are not in the right position to criticize who adheres or does not adhere to a ceasefire anymore because we have seen what they all did in Gaza and Lebanon
