Fubara: Gentlemen of the Press, I am here by myself this morning with few members of my Executive Council to comply with the Supreme Court Judgement. Before my arrival, I had already made several attempts by phone calls to the Speaker and other members. I also did a letter personally which was transmitted to the Honourable Speaker for this particular invitation but it's unfortunate you can see that the gates is completely sealed and there is no sign anything is going to happen today.

The reason why we Are doing this, I have always said it's for the interests of our people which is the most important thing. Well, I don't think there is anything to be worried about, maybe they are working on the letter. I expect to hear from them after this.

The legislators are confused. If budget is not presented, the state government cannot pay them. As it now, they DO NOT HAVE any reason to procure an impeachment. The governor should write to them again and publish it on the media that he wants to present the budget. If they keep avoiding it, then the RVSG should get a court order mandating them to receive the budget. It is a constitutional requirement.

We saw what Wike did with executive power and heaven did not fall.
Governor Sim Fubara is just after the relative peace we have in Rivers state, if not!!!

The Rivers people love and appreciate our Governor. He has done more way in two years than Wike ever did in his 8 years as a Governor.
