I have traveled on all those roads I mentioned in the last 1 year. So zombie, which development breast are u sucking?
Fixing of existing roads for the past 4yrs. Just sharrap if you have nothing meaningful to say
You can make your point without insults or derogatory remarks.

I have also travelled all the major roads in Nigeria. The Coastal road is a welcome economic boost if you consider the ease of logistics it brings to the Southern corridor of Nigeria.

Additionally, all the State roads where most kidnapping occurs would be reduced drastically.

Finally, at the moment the road is generating big businesses for those who key into it.
The real estate value of the lands there are now quite valuable. Also, if you have trucks that carry sand, you can come let me key you in at N180k per truck hire per day.

Am glad you mentioned only little part you know
Use the next 3 days and drive down akwa ibom to calabar, portharcourt to akwa ibom, portharcourt to imo, portharcourt to bayelsa, add them to you "rehabilitation things" then I can respond to you once

You can also drive a little between okpella to lokoja, add okene axis into lokoja too
But you mentioned FG roads in Benin as being among the roads you have driven pass in the last 1 year and which are bad?
And I have shown to the whole world that you lied because Benin axis which I stay has been experiencing rehabilitation since the end of last year.
I'm not like you that stays in your village and start lying about things happening or not happening in other states, so I can only speak about Benin city (Edo State).
Going forward, I'm sure some person's that reside in some of these states you mentioned will come to the thread and also point out your lies.

They will still tell you that you're lying. They're only hurting themselves.
Their problems, not mine
Hopefully, before the end of the month, I will try and drive past Benin Sapele road currently going through rehabilitation, video it and create a thread for it on nairaland.

That contract did not go through either such process and that is the fact. And lol, you ran to AI, Gen Z. The truth is there has to be a special case before any such selection happens the way it did. Feasibility studies, community consultations, all these are best practice. But BPP cannot just select when there wasn't even an appropriation. Get that into your numbskull you motor park illiterate.

grin grin grin NL makes me laugh sometimes but it's a faceless forum sha
So we should do federal road projects with the aim of increasing property values for real estate businesses? Interesting

You stated you have traveled major roads, and instead of negating the fact that these roads are death traps that need urgent rehabilitation, you jump into coastal road is a welcome development. Can you connect the two?
Assume I didn't know, tell me how the coastal road will bring the economic development that fixing most of the current dilapidated federal roads cannot bring?

Oh, and about Chagouri. He is a convict. This is a fact.

But its not surprising that a drug dealer would be doing deals with a convicted fraudster is it?
And the motor park tout illiterate who worships them comes online to praise them for raping his country.

Omo ale, omo jatijati, oloriburuku.

SOLID PROJECT BUT NOT A PRIORITY AT ALL.... a highway through unproductive hinterlands while your productive epicenter are inaccessible.

ITS A PROJECT FOR POLITICAL PATRONAGE..... QED!!

Until now, those who are asking Fubara to obey rule of law have gone deaf, dumb and blind on the due process for award of this contract 😂
How do you open up hinterlands for development without basic infrastructure such as roads.

1st, traveling from warri to Benin is hell. We ve been hearing rehabilitation for the past 8yrs, so someone like me only wants to see end results. Once I can travel from warri to Benin smoothly then I will say "the road has been done"

Secondly you are the one that sounds like someone who doesn't leave his enclave. I mentioned up to 5more roads and you obviously have nothing to say about them.
We don't need to wait for someone living in akwa ibom or cross rivers to tell me am lying, we can bet small money and let an independent middle man here get us pictures.

Traveller that needs someone living in those states to educate him the state of the roads.

No matter the justifications .

It's currently inappropriate at this time .

Reasons .

There are many alternatives to that route yearning for attention.
There are many areas the funds could have been injected to make meaningful impact to Nigerians, e.g. Ajaokuta, Aladja steel, Expansion of two key Electricity Hydro power plants .

And many more .
Those areas you pointed out .., Funds allocated as been embezzled by previous governments seeking IMF loans ,china loans.,.
so electricity in Nigeria is not visible for now.. Minister of Power and Minister for Oil and Gas.., are just fiddling around ghosted projects submitting annual budgets for there own selfish interest not for the public..

you can verify

As far as I deh concerned, nah white elephant project be dis one because nah so so road construction we deh always hear for many years now.

1.Why we nor fit get steady electricity?
2.why our major hospitals nor deh well equipped?
3.why we nor get pipe borne water for our houses?
4.why insecurity for our country?
5.why our major roads & highway become death traps?
6.why dem nor fit build lost cost houses?

Your guess it is as good as mine.

Chagouri is a convict and that is a fact. You can shout from now till tomorrow, that is only because you are a congenital criminal who lives in a motor park working for agberos as their shoe shiner.

People like you are from the gutter just like your drug lord president and his cohort Chagouri.

It's a beautiful project. The only downside of this project is the timing

at a time where akwa ibom to cross rivers is a deadly venture, Eleme Road is a death trap, Warri to benin something else, Imo to Anambra, PH to Imo is hell and so on and so forth, doing a project like this is a misplaced priority.

How many Nigerians will loose their lives on these highways before the coastal road is completed?. Assuming they focused on putting all federal highway in order, before venturing into the coastal raod, it would have been absolutely lovely
there is no better time than now. Asiwaju has to start earaly no matter what and try all possible better in getting reelcted so to complete the project he jnitated . You cant trust your successors, they might diviate from the plan he has for over 25 years ago

Undergoing repairs for how many years now? All the roads I mentioned have been bad for at least 4 to 5 years now
Tell your state government and the Local government to fix the roads. 82% of the roads around you belongs to them

It's all about priority and empathy. Nigerians are suffering on most federal roads in the south. An good leader will fix that first then consolidate on new projects
A good selfless leader will not care about reelection, he will let his performance speak for him.
