ejieddy:What you are seeing happening in oil sector is as a result of deregulation of the said sector not because dangote is benevolent to decrease PMS prices. Both dangote and importers are responding to market forces. My brother, you need to read and learn widely so that you make informed opinion and not like an illiterate market woman in the village. |

ClearFlair:If there's no importation, Dangote will not reduce its price. Competition is good for Nigerians. If importation is allowed for Cement, a bag would be sold below 4000. |

seunowa:And you need to use your common sense to know you are in Nigeria where market forces don't determine anything except a few cabals. Yes you may have knowledge but still be foolish when you can't apply it as wisdom. This is Nigeria. Where have you seen market forces determine anything? If market forces could determine the price of PMS, why has it steadily increase post Goodluck Jonathan when oil prices have actually fallen? Someone has come to challenge them and that someone has capacity. If the refinery was just a 60kbpd refinery, they won't even flinch. They will continue to lie to us that the landing cost of petrol was N1,300 as this was the narrative before and then exchange rate was at N1,700. Now at N1,500, the landing cost is now N770... Oga, don't be literate but foolish. It's not market forces but a person. |
