The application was launched on the 13th of June. People who booked that same day are yet to get appointment completely. There's no easy route to leave Nigeria "as soon as possible" for Germany besides having a job and getting it pre-approved. That takes just 3 weeks.

Totally thankful to God that a journey of 28 months have ended in praise with my visa in my hands! 🙏

1. Appointment booked: Nov 6, 2022

2. Admission to TUM: Jul 13, 2023

3. Thought about deferring but then TUM introduced tuition fees after my set, deferring meant I'd join the next set to pay tuition. So, I maintained by admission by paying semester fees for 4 semesters (I almost gave up at semester 3 but God encouraged me)

4. AD came: Dec 19, 2024 (I already forgot I was waiting for AD 😂)

5. First interview: Jan, 21 2025 Was unprepared, asked to bring enrollment certificate for next semester (VO said it was an exception, I would have been sent home to start afresh)

6. Second interview: Feb 25, 2025 Completed interview, asked to submit extra documents

7. VISUM APPROVED: March 11, 2025!

It was a long 28 months of patience and trusting God's will and in the end it was worth it! Yours is the next!

You can take your contract letter along.

If you have NPC birth certificate and you were before DEC 1992, Just go to the high court and get an affidavit for Declaration of age done by your parents or a brother older with 15+ years. At Lagos, they have an option for virtual affidavit incase the deponent couldn't come physically.

I went with enrollment certificate for the ongoing semester which will end March 31st. It was rejected. I was asked to get for the upcoming semester

I have already gotten the blocked account. I just need a public health insurance that is reliable and affordable.

That was then. Currently, over a dozen have been approved because not many people have applied for it fully because of lack of SL and BA

The category system has been cleared and not yet implemented on the new digital portal. You have to wait and see how it unfolds. Only DAAD and Government scholarship holders are mentioned currently
