Trossard is the useless player tonight. Sterling has done his bit this 2nd half. His misses though.

Saka back for Madrid encounter.

Partey and Rice and Zinchenko

White vs Vini is scarier than Timber vs Vini imo.

Make we sha be wise with chances. This team can use 5 passes in counter attack and cause wahala. I pray no red card that day for us sha. We need a fully fit xi. I doubt we have the lungs if it was Atletico sha

Arsenal, the club with the worst luck with referees will face Madrid, the club who get yearly calls in their favour.

Good luck to Arsenal grin grin

Arteta, just forget about EPL and spend the next training sessions on beating Real Madrid. You could become a club legend this season Arteta. Please!!!!

As in no more stupid experiment
Saks should be back, trossard should be deployed as cf
The manager and the team should just be discipline between the 2 legs

No experiment at all. Play everyone at their regular position, and hopefully no injury crisis before April. I hope the players turn up too because they will have to want it badly to see us through.

Senderos at the back and no goal over two legs.

The thing is we also need a one man show, one player that will be a pain to the madrid backline the way psg was to Liverpool.

Do we have our Henry for this encounter? For Pace it should be Martinelli. For flair it ought to be Odegaard, for threat none stop it should be Saka. It's unbelievable that all these qualities were in Thierry for the two legs in 2006. He came and dropped himself with no thoughts of the next game. He wanted to die there.

If Arteta doesn't bring his Sporting Lisbon form, he's wasting his time. We don't need experimenting. We need to take this as the final. Sane Fans know we are the underdog in this encounter.
That was how it was in 06 but we shocked the world.

Who knows if 2006 will repeat itself with us being champs this time.

We can only hope. But if we are going out, go out so honourably that the performance will be hard to forget in next 6years.

Una get the squad to do the job, it’s the mentality I’m not sure about

We the fans can and must doubt. But as Igwe said in the studio, if we don't believe we can beat them over 2 legs, then we might as well not show up for the encounter.

So it won't be about calibre. But mentality.

The right manager speech can change a lot

This fixture can not be over for us after the first leg at home. We absolutely have to give ourselves a chance going into the 2nd leg in Spain.

We know how to play haram football. So we need to go all out at the Emirates. Let them never ever feel like that Stadium is where they can show their game.

Get a win at the Emirates and either play for the draw at Bernabeu or use the "i did it at your backyard" like Yamal and Barca did months ago.

The truth is they are beatable at Santiago. They're also terrible at setpieces from Cornerkicks, so Jover needs to find how to revive that advantage before that fixture.

As for the nonsense errors that leads to goals that Raya and co at the back have done in last 3 ucl games, we need that removed. It will be terrible playing this guys on both legs and an error gives them the advantage to next stage.

Somewhere along the line, i know Arteta might reason taking this to PK sha knowing Raya is good there. But I don't feel that way. Plus Courtois is even better at PK.

Studying the Madrid encounter, simeone actually attacked them. He also controlled the middle for longer periods. Then Real woke up unexpectedly in extra time.

If Partey plays, i won't expect much run and recovery duels from him. But he will control a lot.

We need to also score from that region that Zinchenko score vs PSV. We need goals from there. Madrid are super comfy when teams play from L-R, holding possession. Cos counter too sweet for them.

We can. But we must upgrade the mentality and reduce any nonsense indiscipline(like useless yellow cards that can make one miss next game or clumsy red cards) cos those two are protected gaaan(Vini and Mbappe)

Arsenal will qualify regardless of the players Arteta feeds that day.

He is actually good. But we shouldn't hop on pk atall solely because of how great Thibaut is there. Any level Raya is on won't matter. Plus i dunno about the cool pk legs in this team since that Man U game

I was pissed. And then hours ago i saw a clip of Giroud scoring such lone man 1v1 without looking. Sterling looked twice and still couldn't. Omo!! I noticed efforts for him to get a goal.

We need to talk about how we don't have dead ball specialist
Numerous occasions we have free kicks in goal scoring positions and nothing comes out of it
It's a terrible situation

Odegaard has regressed badly this season. We have good CK takers but somehow it hasn’t translated into direct FK especially.

Have lost faith in odegaard, another players need to step up
Saka, rice or martinelli need to step up
Odegaard is acting like a teammate not a leader, once it's free kicks Bruno, palmer etc will step up but odegaard will just be looking for who to take responsibility

My own is to strip him of the captain hand band. He was fantastic and aggressive last season but this season he has been largely indifferent and poor.

You guys should give him slack oh.

Remember the length of injury he had.
Injury i mean those long term injuries changes most players or changes the waythey play.
That's what did Martinelli after his outstanding season.
That long term injury affected him ...

So yes we need a dead ball specialist..
