A Nigerian man has stirred conversations online after revealing how he has been supporting his wife’s education since their marriage. According to him, he married his wife while she was in her first year at university and, despite being jobless at the time, worked hard to ensure she completed her degree. shocked

Taking to social media, the proud husband shared how he took on responsibilities after her graduation, securing a job to sustain their family. However, when his wife later expressed her desire to attend aviation school, he continued to support her dream.

"After graduating, I jejely looked for work with my first degree to feed my family. I married her in 100 level without a job, but I managed as a jobless guy to sponsor her through her degree at Uni Agric. After her degree, I never went to any other school, but my wife said she wanted to go to aviation school, so I had no option but to support her," he wrote.

He also dismissed the belief that a more educated wife would disrespect her husband, stating: shocked

"I am one of those few ones who never believed that if your wife is more educated than you, she will not respect you. When I no get strength, she go train my kids. Kunav girls no deh mumu."

While many praised him for being a supportive husband, some critics warned that his sacrifices could "end in tears."

"I just pray she doesn’t meet someone better than you in aviation school," shocked one person commented.

From the comments on Nairaland, you would notice that many People are generally unhappy to see marriages flourish.

They are generally happy when they hear of situations where people pass thru hell in marriage as that's what they are used to hearing as that ticks their preconceived notions

Anything outside the normal bad news about marriage, they attack. I would not have advised this man to bring his "wins" so far to cyber social space

Too much bad energy here

Obviously, he loves her dearly. But if for any reason she decided to betray such a love for reasons best known, it would be her loss. Reality and fancy are like khaki and leather.
How will it be her loss?

TenQ:
Marry the right wife and you will have in her an investment that your Children will benefit from.

Marry wrongly, then your investment is worthless!

Since I don't have control over my life, I build my wife that she can comfortably carry the load at my death

It's all about the FOUNDATION of your choice! If you chose wrongly, you have yourself to blame!
TenQ, thank you. We're talking about a wife here, not a so called girlfriend. See negative comments everywhere. What has marriage turned to in the eyes of the youths of today? No wonder tomorrow refused to come to the so called "leaders of tomorrow".

This na one thing wey I no fit ever try for life!!!
Make I gist una small story. When I was doing my NYSC, if you see wetin some married women dey do for camp, you go shock. The so-called married women were easier to eat than single girls because of the attention wey guys dey give dem. Even inside camp, plenty stories dey about guys chopping these married women. Now make we move to our PPA. For our PPA, we had one married female corper, though she no give me Opueh to chop even with my sharp techniques cool, but others ate and they confirmed the tightness of her juicy kpekus. Whenever her husband dey call her, the husband go say make he talk to some of us wey dey around. The innocent man go thank us and admonish us to take care of the wife, not knowing say corpers dey harvest for he sacred farmland. That would have been the first and only time wey I for chop a married woman, but luckily she no give me. Though E pain me then say I no get a bite from the food but when I look back to it today, I thank God say I no chop the food. So oga make I ask y'all a question: why do you think your woman is different from others?
What do I even know sef aside enlightening my fellow men nationwide with the good news

Oga if you no meet your wife as a virgin, oga go for DNA test oooooooo because non-virgins aka boreholes can't be trusted atall atall
If your married ex presents herself to you now, will you consider it?
