sacajawea:This is a bag of unprocessed Rice. It is 100kg. Each bag is 100k. If a farmer makes 10 bags, he is already a millionaire. Some farmers make close to 100 bags. Farmers do not always farm one crop. They farm varieties of crops. A bag of dry ginger is over 600k now. A farmer with just 2 bags of ginger is already a millionaire. Na you dey see million like big money. Small Boys for my village no dey see am as anything. Cause they make more money via farming

JuanDeDios:You can try it this year. Start with a cup of Soya beans. If it work well this year, you can farm it in large quantity next year. Soya beans is expensive every year. You don't need fertilizer. 100kg bag of Soya beans is currently about 300k |

WantsandMore:Rice storage doesn't need any special method. Just store in a cool and dry place. No need for any chemical or insecticide. Rice can be stored for over a year. De-stoning services are available now for local farmers. I also de-stoned mine after the process. You can establish a de-stoning facility and farmers will patronize you. But ensure your facility is located at a community where they have many rice farmers. |

MrSamsung:After everything. I take my rice for de-stoning. After the de-stoning process, there will be no single stone in the rice. It doesn't cost much to de-stoned rice. Most of these local rice are packaged and sold as foreign rice |

ScarletBrace:How many ethnic groups do they have in Britain... But they came here and merged 46 ethnic group together and the foolish people agreed and defended it with Ak47 by killing themselves including you as the mayor. How many languages do they speak in Britain but they came here and merged 86 languages together and told them to abandon it and communicate in foreign language. The idiots agreed even though they couldn't speak it, invented pigin and made those who couldn't speak foreign language inferior upto the extent of failing them in school and frustrating them. How many Churches do we have in Britain... They came here and mounted churches every where and told the idiots that the church will solve all their problems. The foolish people agreed and till today, churches are multiplying like rats and solve nothing. How many scientific or business books did they translate to any 86 ethnic languages but the stupid people came here and translated the Bible to all the languages but ordinary physics, they could not translate and the colonized idiots could not do it themselves till today. If you are not ignorant, you should understand by now that those people never wished us well. Yes they have farmlands because they know the importance that's why they made sure they reprogrammed our mindset to think it's only illiterates that go to farm. In 1980, Naira had more value than the Dollars due to agriculture... All they needed to do was to create one useless certificate and tell the zoo animals to struggle for it at the expense of 20yrs there precious time. Black man should have sense |

LocalFARMERS:So this confirms a thread I opened before. As the thought came to my mind, I wrote down. How many plots of land will bring 10 bags of rice? Or say like this how many bags will a plot give? How easy is Farming rice from start to finish, compared to most crops? |

stagger:How some groups of people came to be collectively hexed to see agriculture as being beneath them in some African countries (in favor of white collar jobs) should be under studied as an example of how strong and damaging the "herd mentality" or "group thinking" can be. While silently reading through the 3 pages of this thread, I can still see traces of resistance with some giving several excuses and seeing obstacles when there are creative solutions around obstacles and situations in life. They will all individually learn the hard way if they are NOT ready to think and take action in terms of "solutions." Period. |
