Lastly ,I'm sure you've not been to Ibadan before or you only pass through when going to Lagos . The mud house/brown roof you guys talk about is in beere an it's environs. It's a symbol of early development when your ancestors were still living inside bush or huts and valor of Ibadan soldiers because no war has entered Ibadan before . 300 years old or several centuries years old building are still standing in London and other European countries.

Ibadan has better housing projects , industrial and economic developments than any 5 plots state .

My friend stop the lies , those mud house brown rusty zinc roof are not 300 yrs , those buildings were built in the 40s 50s during the Era of regional government when Ibadan was the capital of south west, eastern region had those buildings too the difference is , us in the east have renovated or demolished most of those buildings, while people in Ibadan did not, cause many of the owners of those buildings abandoned them and moved to Lagos after regional government ended today their children are claiming to be Lagos indigenes, others are too poor to demolish and rebuild, Ibadan brown roof mud house is not a symbol of development it's a symbol of lack of maintenance and underdevelopment

Check Oluyole industrial estate out . Note that Oluyole is just a community in Ibadan unlike Onitsha that's a city like Ibadan .

Oluyole alone is on 630km square not to talk of Bodija or Sango etc while the whole of Onitsha is 830km square .

According to statistics,Oyo has about 1.8m businesses and also account for 16% of the country informal economic activity while Anambra has 1.2m businesses.

Pls ,also note that Oyo State is not known for fake products unlike Anambra .

Don't be ignorant , something that has been there since the 1800s ?even if they're all developed in the 1900s it still doesn't invalidate the fact that it was the style of building then .

Ibadan is the biggest city in the whole of West Africa . Most renovated houses are caused by war or damages .SE was destroyed when they lost the war. In Ibadan case,they're great warriors and they never lose on their homeland ,instead of renovating the ones already built ,they extend development to newsl areas ,that's why Oyo State has most built up areas than your Anambra ,and yes ,Ibadan has better housing estates than Anambra .

Lastly ,because I mentioned 300 years doesn't mean Beere houses are exactly 300 years ,it's just an analogy cos your thinking is shallow . That's why you cant compare London houses to New York houses .

If Ibadan indigenes abandoned Ibadan for Lagos ,then tell us who developed places like Oluyole,aerodrome,Kolapo Ishola ,Akobo and several other highbrows areas in Ibadan that are envy of others especially the Igbos .

Abolishment of regional government by your Igbo brothers is out of hatred to hamper others development and sheer greed of expansionism but failed woefully.

We still read in the news yesterday that a whole local government just have a general Hospital in Anambra the flagship state of the Igbos .

The Yorubas have been building empires when you guys were still having tails and residing on trees . We built Ife empire ,then Oyo empire and now we have Lagos but you guys don't have any history that's why you're projecting your inability to others . If I ask you for your history now ,I'm sure you will mention agbari Ojukwu .

Lagos has been developed before being made the capital of Nigeria ,it's the port my ancestors used to import weapons to fight in wars and other goods for trades and other development while they also export their produce .
