The Management of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede in Imo State has suspended a lecturer, Okoroafor Ifeanyichukwu for assaulting a student. Whilst it is unclear what must have triggered his action, this is not the first time the said Mr Okoroafor will be embroiled in such similar row with his students.

Maybe he was a member in his younger yesrs, he should have allowed maturity work on him. He has demoralised the guy. In my department then a mech lecturer Ejiofor chased my course mate inside the gutter. He later apologised cos the tension was high on campus, he would have been sacked.
