If he can match the zeal with which he screamed Subsidy is gone for good with the zeal with which he goes after Fulanis herdsmen destroying lives and crops, it will make a lot of sense.

Tinubu has lost it all.

Here is a man who got so excited about being sworn in as president of Nigeria, went off-script, and screamed 'Subsidy is gone' without understanding what it entails or putting measures in place to mitigate its effects on the citizens.

Today, Nigerians are being subjected to untold hardships, hunger, and starvation because of that thoughtless statement and other thoughtless policies.
If it was not done then the hawks would not have allowed it. These are decisions that no government had the guts to take for many years. The signs of bankrupt economy were evident: 1. We were printing money to foot recurrent costs. 2. Fx obligations could not be met. 3. State governments were owing months of salaries. 4. Contractors were not paid etc etc.

Two years down the line

Is the economy not still bankrupt? Is Tinubu not still engaging in mindless borrowings? Do we not still have unmet FX obligations? Is the state government not still owing salaries? Seven months after the minimum wage was signed into law, it hasn't been implemented in most states and the federal government, especially for Youth Corps members.

I still maintain that Tinubu made a thoughtless statement and decisions that this country may not recover from

How many times? Were you not on this Country when Tinubu came up with Yoruba tax bill 6 months ago? His plans was to pass the bill within a week. But the almighty North stopped the Yoruba tax bill. Now the bill has gone through alot of amendment to an extent that. It now only favours the North. grin

Tinubu dey use billions to buy Northerners over. I recently bought another Car. I got the money from Tinubu. We go chop him money and we go still vote am out in 2027.

Your focus should be on the one who got excited about being sworn in as president, went off-script, and screamed, 'subsidy is gone,' without first understanding what it's all about or putting measures in place to mitigate the effects the removal of the fuel subsidy will have on the citizens. That is what a responsible government should do.
The subsidy was gone, Bubu had not budgeted for it and is the one that should have put any measures in place. What should he have said, "bikonu my people, make una no vex, subsidy is going"?

You are actually the one not in touch with reality. Just few weeks ago, government started paying N7 trillion for subsidies last year, obviously after the purported 'subsidy gone' statement. It was also reported that we spent over 900bn as a Nation for fuel importation in February alone.

https://newscentral.africa/nigeria-spent-n930-billion-on-fuel-imports-in-february/

So before you start castigating people understand what they are saying first. Tunubu's policies ruined this nation further and that's the reality.
Typical clueless Thing, were in the link that u posted did it say subsidy was paid to anyone by the government?

Those APC urchins should come and debunk what Afenifere said since they are wiser and also reaping the fruits of their slave master ruling.

Whether Tinubu is President, or they decide to bring Godwin Emefiele I could care less, all we do is prosper irrespective.
