@ariesbull a million likes for your post. You've just summarized the whole and true premise for the special military operation. The West has a good way of painting narratives. I personally never knew about Zelensky's atrocities in Eastern Ukrain until 2022 when writer and others here enlightened us after the operation had begun. Not even once had I ever come across anything from BBC, my former favorite source, condemning it. They did the same thing with the Palestinian issue. If they're the right kind of victims, you can bomb them to extinction with no problem. They'll even justify it and call them terrorists or something.

The US have a standing policy of arming the Jews with the best of its military hardware.. Known as the Qualitative Military Edge QME.. this policy makes sure the Jewish state would always be ahead of its neighbors.

This started during Potus Lyndon Johnson and will continue for as long as the Jewish state remains willing to accept the supports..

All this started because of the belligerent Arabs neighbours of the Jews..thus even after the Jews started having normal peace relationship with some of its Arab neighbours it was necessary to check mate the flow of US weapons to this friendly Muslim countries, because any Islamic or Arab nation no matter how warm the relationship is will always be a potential adversary to the Jewish nation.

I think you're over exaggerating the US military prowess or you're misinformed, no country is capable of sustaining a war economy for 50 years, not even NATO or the combo of both China and Russia.

In addition, the US pulled out of Vietnam not only because of the rising casualties but also because it was economically unsustainable. Nixon had to clean up the mess Lyndon made by pulling out of Vietnam because he was smart enough to realize it was a dead end.

Both the Soviets and the Chinese were not in good terms during the Cold wars, their relationship was far from rosey during the Vietnam war ( mostly due to differences in political ideology, Mao was against De-Stalinization being pushed by Krushchev ) but they collaborated on Vietnam and the Taskent declaration.
