It is smoking because of the native pot that's used in warming the soup.
The beautiful thing is that the soup will remain warm for more than 6 hours

I don't know about this but standard restaurant now have heated iron which they placed below soup most especially. It would be hot as if you are picking meat from the normal cooking fire.

Still had the so hot goat soup with the iron fire days ago
