I've lived there. Christians make up 40% of the population. 90% of Southern Borno are Christians.

They have been holding crusades in Nigeria for decades, what has been the impact? More moral decadence, corruption, bad governance while the crusade organisers smile to the bank.

Religion has become like a mere social tag for Nigerians without serving as a major restraint for bad behaviour. A prostitute or robber goes straight to church from runs or robbery and from church to runs and robbery without qualms.

Should the emphasis be on the size of crowds or the impact on the society?

This is Jesus talking to his disciples, and this passage was not about performing miracles alone.
It's also about spreading the gospel of christ to the entire world.
Not everyone will perform miracles, all the disciple of christ didn't perform miracle.

For this kind of crusade, I'm sure no single offering was taken. This is not a normal church service. Infact, it's the church that would spend a huge amount of money to make this happen.

I don't mean to downgrade anyone, but what's gonna be the ROI if profit is the reason behind the evangelization of that place? Shey dem even get money ni?

That's what I just replied the other guy above. Na the church sef go spend heavily for the crusade. And the goal in not even profit, as many of the participants are mostly poor people.

Some of you don't have sense. Do you know how much you need to do a programme. This program could cost over 200 million naira and offering will not even reach 10 million naira.

My church spend more than 500 million to organise a program but offering is less than 10 percentage of money spent. We don't consider money we consider the impart the program should have in their lives and souls won at the end.
