The mirage of a good life in the past was just Nigerians living on many subsidies.

Whether healthy or unhealthy, let the Man enjoy what he likes, nobody lives forever, no matter how healthy one is.

Just imagine the kind of curtains and curtains hanger he is using, yet displaying this food. So much misplaced priorities among Nigerians.
it is his priorities not yours, so he can misplace it as he likes.

over 80% of Nigerians can't afford this type of meal. Many are eating just anything to survive T-Pain
....more like they survive on factory processed indomie.

Does the use of a drying pot cause the meat to smoke(not steam) even after it has been placed in the soup? undecided
That is steam, not smoke. Go to Delta state, especially Urhobo land, this is a common delicacy in the villages. A native man in urhobo land will prefer to use the éwéré pot than a breakable plate.

I hope this eating style is like once in 6 months for a man in the neighbourhood of 60years

This is not enjoyment if very frequent, it can be tolerated if it is indulgent.

So, it isn't the food, but the black pot that is producing the smoke(not steam)? huh
If u put same soup inside the other kind of pot u know.. it will stop boiling in less than 10sec after getting it off the fire... ND then starts cooling off... Yes, there will b steam, but not even the size of a quarter of what u currently see in the picture...

So I repeat the black pot is reason for the large steam not the soup

Do you know the FAO recruitment for Administrative Assitant in Nigeria is a scam??

UN Jobs don't require both BSAFE certificate and GENDIQ certificate.

Although, BSAFE is free and offered by the UNDSS, but
GENDIQ is offered by third parties.

On DEIMaster.com and Divesitytalents.com GENDIQ is $99.01
While on Nigeria.Speedycourse.com, Justicegroup.org and other platform it is $300

All of these are scam, fraudulent and fake.. be careful. Only attend to official emails and confirm from the source company.

Why is the food smoking(smouldering)? huh
It's because of the clay pot...as a science inclined human...I know that clay has a great resistance to heat...so the heat of the soup from the pot still remains...that soup can last hours still very hot...apart from that...I know this too as an isoko man...banga soup wey Dem put for afere nor dey quick cold...the soup can continue boiling in that same plate for almost an hour cheesy cheesy cheesy

Kobojunkie, do and go and marry. You're almost clocking 40 now. Stop jumping from one thread to another. You are getting old. Don't let menopause catch up with you, if at all it hasn't catched up with you already.

. That looks a lot more like it is smoldering— that in the picture looks a lot like smoke, not steam—not boiling! huh

Pay close attention to the question asked. I asked why the soup looked like it was smoking — not steaming—so telling me stories about a clay pot was not an answer. Hot pots are popular all over. Again, that there in the picture looks a lot like smoke and not steam. undecided

Hot pots are common everywhere, not just in Urhobo land. The picture makes it look so much like smoke and not steam at all. undecided

Sizzling(steaming) food is not the same as smoldering(smoking) food, which is what the OP looks more of. If you are not aware of the difference between the appearance of vapor coming out of a steaming pot of beans, for example, and smoke coming out of a burning pot of beans, then you shouldn't even bother engaging abeg! undecided

Jeez ...nigga...that was definitely steam not smoke...you can't do empirical analysis from a photo na... common sense should tell you that was steam... whitish "smoke" don't come from a nice looking plate of food...if food was burning I'm damn sure the color of the gas emanating from it isn't going to be white...it would be ash-ish in color

You seem to have a particular problem with me believing that what my eyes see is smoke and not steam. Why? huh

2. Is the whitish smoke not what you see in that picture? huh huh

What I'm trying to say is that you can't determine the constituents of that gaseous whitish substance from a picture and just call it "smoke" ...but the only evidence you have to call it steam is because it's coming out from a clay pot of soup
Lemme give you another anology...if you saw a darkish thick liquid oozing out of a very machine like equipment...would you call it crude oil just because it looks so much like crude oil to "your eyes" or should common sense not tell you that's definitely just dirty engine oil
