➜If u put same soup inside the other kind of pot u know.. it will stop boiling in less than 10sec after getting it off the fire... ND then starts cooling off... Yes, there will b steam, but not even the size of a quarter of what u currently see in the picture... So I repeat the black pot is reason for the large steam not the soup

➜That is steam, not smoke. Go to Delta state, especially Urhobo land, this is a common delicacy in the villages. A native man in urhobo land will prefer to use the éwéré pot than a breakable plate.

Omo, you go like to argue o. It's of sizzling foods. It explained that sizzling foods are served very hot, smoking, steaming whatsoever.

Sizzling(steaming) food is not the same as smoldering(smoking) food, which is what the OP looks more of. If you are not aware of the difference between the appearance of vapor coming out of a steaming pot of beans, for example, and smoke coming out of a burning pot of beans, then you shouldn't even bother engaging abeg!

Pay close attention to the question asked. I asked why the soup looked like it was smoking — not steaming—so telling me stories about a clay pot was not an answer. Hot pots are popular all over. Again, that there in the picture looks a lot like smoke and not steam.

➜whitish "smoke" don't come from a nice looking plate of food...if food was burning I'm damn sure the color of the gas emanating from it isn't going to be white...it would be ash-ish in color
