The NYSC Eti-Osa LGI requesting her contact in their whatsapp group, the recorded call from the LGI asking her to take down the video and threatening her, the DMs and SMS messages from other corpers warning her to be careful etc indicates she is.

Lawyers and Nigerians online fit dey prop her up but I think her statement, "the president is terrible" is an insult because it's a negative assessment of his character and personality.

If she had said, the president's economic policies are terrible, that would be termed a critique.

In a few days, she'll stop trending, the social media noise & uproar will fizzle out but NYSC will be quietly waiting to exert their pound of flesh at her POP by giving her a service extension with close marking & monitoring.

I'm sympathetic to her but I just feel the repercussion of her outburst no worth am.

Make she milk this her fame, NYSC dey lurk for corner.

Everybody with their respective standard of living, if the cost of living crisis has made it impossible or difficult for her to afford what is her normal, she has every right to complain, and even shed tears while complaining.

The girls message is valid, the cost of living crisis cuts across the entire country, she no be Otedola or Dangote pikin, na where e bite her as "common man" she dey talk.

Like ….. I’m annoyed in my spirit reading all of those crap . Personally I know quite a number of people who have reached out both online and offline for support due to the hard times being faced under this government in the last two years. How people who are genuinely not lazy have been incapacitated financially and have their income eroded due to the economic crisis being experienced day-in-day-out and yet u have people knocking the girl’s lifestyle and abandoning the message in her rant .

Even if u are serving in Sokoto or Yobe, how can 33k fend for a full grown adult in 2025?

For example a liter of kerosene is N1,058 as at March 2025 ( according to online sources ). Let’s say a corner will need at least 10 liters in a month to cook at least twice a day for 30 days, that means kerosene alone will gulp N10,580 out of N33,000.


Think about how much a paint of rice , beans , corn, garri, pepper ,tomatoes , onions, a tuber of yam, and small bag of semo will cost and how much that will take out of the remaining N22,420 of the allawee; then u will see how unfair it is to shush the lady who was bold enough to speak for every other youth that has been suffering and smiling .

We’ve not even talked about common basic things like the lady buying sanitary pads from her allawee sef 🤦‍♂️
