I have my reasons for identifying Asake as one without sense. I believe he knows his father well enough to understand that merely throwing #30m at him wouldn't better his life but feed his dirty habits, of which one of them is 'picking up prostitutes'. Now, a whole #30m has gone down the drain, and he's back for more. My argument is that it's not sensible nor pragmatic to just throw money at every problem.

Secondly, now that his father is in need, what reasons has he got not to come to his aid, especially as he's capable? Before anything, Asake has a duty of care towards his parents regardless of their characters. Asake neglecting his father, and not picking his call can not be justified.

I understand that some family members can be a pain, but above all, FAMILY IS EVERYTHING.
