Some criticisms, irrespective of the manner they were presented, are meant to be taken in good faith and used as a feedback mechanism for improvement. Not to be unnecessarily defensive and insulting. That Lagos is smelly is nothing anyone can hide and whoever tries to rationalize that is not ready for progress. I remember the first time I entered Lagos in 2002 for a gospel crusade, the smell that greeted me then at Ojota is something I can never forget. 23 years on and the smell is still very much there. The same 23 years in some other countries and you'll barely be able to recognise the landscape due to high tech infrastructural development!
We need to restrict illegal immigrants coming to Lagos.
You can't be loitering around.
Before now, it wasn't like this in my grandfather's days

Ko de ni dara fun awon to ni e, very ungrateful animals or folks, mind you i am from IBEJU-LEKKI, your Anambra governor doesn't own half of what am blessed with. Iku pa e danu. Your house good ypu come Lagos? OLORIBURUKU
People from different countries live in America making their money and sending back home and nobody threatened them so far they have their papers. I wonder why you people are so pained that other tribes live in Lagos, people of the same country as yours. Is the presidential office not in Abuja. The rich oil states are they not in Southeast and South South? What sort of myopic thinking do you people have to question the existence of other ethnic groups in smelling Lagos?. If you like you can go to Kano or Abuja or Portharcout and live there as a Nigerian. If you want others ethnic groups to come to Lagos with papers then let's divide the country. If I want to come to Lagos I will get my Visa. But Yoruba people are afraid of Igbos having Biafra but still angry that Igbos are moving freely in Lagos. No be juju be that?🤣

Which of these two states have squeezed out IGR from the population to have a 60 times increase in budget since 1999 because of a brilliant master plan to loot the people’s money instead of employing civil servants to make water available to all buildings?

I laugh at who ever believe in Nigeria especially if u are from the east , it is tribalism as an instrument of governance, see what a state government official is saying, he made it a tribal thing , was there any lagos before it was made the capital of Nigeria ?

Finally. Lagos fighting back.
This girl did not know that Lagos was smelly when she was eating that 65k dinner at a fancy Lebanese restaurant, beside the smelly Lagos lagoon, she posted on tiktok. Not once did she cover her nose in the video..

She should be redeployed to Sokoto, go to clubbing at night, and be taking her 25k Uber there. Sokoto people will really love to use the vlogging skills she displays on her tiktok account. grin

Maybe one day, she will also call her own state government of Cross River to order, abi na only Lagos (the best governed state in Nigeria) that needs to be called out ni. We all know na agenda cheesy

Her state of cross river is also one of the parasites state sucking most from the VAT. Yet she open mouth begin dey criticize Sanwo Olu.

Go after Tinubu, we don't care, but leave our sanwo Olu for us.
If these what Lagos has to give as a response then Lagos govt more be crazy ... what does he mean they move in ?? is that a new development or did it start 10yrs ago

when Fashola was governor did he not handle lagos waste mgt better

what was Ambode sin, was he not becos he decided to outsource lagos waste mgt to private competent hands, buh Apc members saw it as a cash cow

Weyre boasting of lagos Nite life, is it lagos govt doing or investors which resonates with "They move in". naa lagos govt build club, lounge and edifice shopping mall

Instead of apologizing and moving on to promising a better environment the idiot is busy passing blame ... you bill people but won't turn upon on time to pick waste, don't we know or see these things

I Agree hence why we should all be divided into region so that we all can bear our fathers name and call it smelly but the problem is you wont agree to that sa it would also mean each region owns their resources what we have here is a buch of selfish tribalistic politicians who use other states resources via the federal government to enrich themselves then when indigeenes of those deprived states move to the center where all resources and jobs are focused they tell us we arnt welcome. classic case of a region who wants to eat her cake and have it. if you are tired of outsiders in your state give them their own country or at least give them rigional autonomy lets see if dangote and many others wont dismantle his refinery in lagos and move it else where

Her Outburst Blows Up I in Her Face

It's hypocrisy wrapped up as criticism. How can u enjoy what u condemn? It's just like the idiots labelling the US for all the ills of the world, yet want its good life.

If Lagos reeks of odour, she and her kinsmen might as well get out of Lagos.

The streaming exodus of people to Lagos from environmentally disadvantaged regions is pressing on the ability of the state to stay afloat socially.

But I say one thing: anyone who lives in the state and then scorns it will not prosper by it. The land will not yield its good to them!

You are right. I just checked his page. He usually doesn't include names in his post. Everybody don dey para. I guess boda Sanwo Olu is not happy Lol..
Ethnic game card ignited!
I build software and I get reviews, some bloody and some nice. In all, I take the lessons from them all. I have never seen people who love tribalism reach South west people shaa.
This one has stylished inserted Igbos into this.
Dear yorubas, pls, u guys are in power, can u guys do the country a favour? Why not push for complete decentralization of this country so that everyone will leave south west alone? If i were Tinubu, this is what I will do to protect south west. I dont care about anything. Turn Nigeria into UK style model where nations exist inside country and each will need valid documentation before getting into another region. As president in charge of Nigeria, do it. This way, those states u call that move to Lagos will stop moving to lagos.

Re: They Move In, Mess It Up, Call It Smelly – Lagos Govt by anonimi: 6:37pm On Mar 17, 2025
As usual with suffering and smiling tribesmen and idiots, we have turned this into a competition of impotent men for the biggest tool, even though absolutely useless where it matters.

The leaders looters who are allowed to emerge from among us must be very happy to see us in this situation.

edet19892015:
Unless you understand your role in society, you can never make any meaningful contribution.

According to the Greeks, they are three types of people on Earth,
1. The idiots,
2. The tribesmen, and
3. The citizens.

Studies show only 10% of Africans are citizens.
The remaining 90% are either tribesmen or idiots.

1. When the Greeks used the word "Idiot", they did not use it as a curse word.
Idiots are people who just don’t care.
If they sit for exams, they will cheat.
If they are in government they will steal.

An idiot does not care at all, if he eats bananas he throws the peels anywhere instead of putting them in a trash bin.

IDIOTS won't attend monthly neighborhood meetings. They won't pay security dues. They won't contribute to community development. Even when they see or know about something that will harm others in the community they won't report it. When they see/know/have something that will benefit their community they won't share.

In fact, Idiots don't care to register for or vote in an election, yet they complain the most. If they register to vote, IDIOTS will sell their votes for peanuts.

According to the Greeks, some societies have more idiots than tribesmen and citizens.

2. The next set of people are "Tribesmen", these are people that look at everything from the point of view of their tribe.

These are people that believe in you only if you are part of their tribe.
It can be terrible to have a tribesman as a leader, he will alienate the rest.

When the Greeks talk about tribes, it’s not just about ethnicity, they also consider religion, gang membership, group membership, party membership and even cult membership as a tribe.

A great percentage of Africans are tribesmen, because they view everything from the point of view of their tribes. They trust only their tribesmen

3. The last group are "Citizens".
These are people who like to do things the right way.
They will respect traffic light rules even if no one is watching them.

They drive within speed limits.
They respect the laws, and won’t cheat in exams.
In government, they won’t steal.
They are compassionate and give to others to promote their well-being.

Citizens often promote projects that benefit everyone.
The Greeks called this group "The Citizens".

Some countries have more citizens than tribesmen and idiots, others have so many idiots.

A tribesman can become a citizen through orientation.
And an idiot can become a citizen by training and constant enforcement of the law.

But things fall apart if you elect an idiot or tribesman to lead you if he has not been reformed.

Where do you belong? Are you an idiot, a tribesman or a citizen? Reflect on your life.
Reflect about your immediate community, city, state and nation.

This is petty of a state government. Very childish kind of reply. I wasn't expecting a direct response from any government agency
you all can talk Sh!t about a state that have given a lot of economic migrant from shitty regions opportunity to excel, but you think the government don’t have a right of reply?

If you can comprehend, you will understand from the explanation given that most of the people who constitute nuisance in the city are people from other region who have no business being in Lagos.

They come without any purpose or any relation to accommodate them, and some find their way under the bridges and other places as accommodation. This people will overstretch our infrastructures, dirty the whole place and turn around to blame the government.

Why can’t they remain in their state if they have no meaningful business or purpose for being in Lagos? That’s the message and it only common sense though it’s not so common grin
