I was thinking this before I even opened the thread. I predicted years ago we would get to this stage as competition for scarce resources increase. The SE has always been at that stage anyway. Even against fellow Igbos from different States. This is why Senator Gbenga Daniel warned that the SW will accommodate 50% of the population of Nigeria in the near future. His way of saying our 'accomodator' ways will get us into trouble.

If there are little jobs or few opportunities for non-indigenes in the SW then they will learn to stay in their state and lobby their leader for better leadership rather than continue fleeing to Lagos to swell the population horrendously and put massive strain on infrastructure to then turn around to say Lagos is smelly.

Now let's start with Exxon Mobil where the cr*minals Yorùbas dominated. Getting a direct tickets and employment from Lagos then post into the state. With charms they can even eliminate the indigenes of the state who may stand of their way.
A company the indigenes will go to seek for employment they will ask to go to Lagos and apply from there.

Nigeria must do away with state of origin. State of residence is a more apt determinant for our country.

State of origin only fosters division and a sense of tribal loyalty! The only loyalty that should exist is loyalty to Nigeria. While I recognize the importance of tribes and cultures, we cannot foster a strong union if we put tribe before nation!!!!

The challenge for you is that any law passed by Lagos to exclude Imo indigenes automatically excludes Oyo indigenes. Nigeria operate states constitutionally and not regions.

There is no Lagos law that can help Osun indigenes that will not automatically help Kogi indigenes. Other Yoruba states indigenes keep talking about Lagos as if they're Lagosians

If you must know, all states in Nigeria employ only their indigenes.

It's only the federal government, private and cooperate firms that employ people regardless of where they're from not state government.
