After how many days of NAFDAC operation is she shedding crocodile tears? So NAFDAC came to your clothing store and packed clothes for no reason? You must think everyone is daft like you.
If they arrest you now and sue you for false accusations you will say government is wicked.
She does know that millions of Nigeria's youths are daft like her. Can't you see the comments of the lazy youths?

All hidden agenda would come to light soon.
I learnt they asked all shop owners in Idumota to pay 3million naira each before they can open their shops.

Multiply that by over 900 shops in that market and tell us that NAFDAC do no not have ulterior motives.
They are also asking all shop owners to pay similar amount at Onitsha as I heard.
Pure rip off
Unfortunately Soludo is sooooo aloof and can't understand the underground motivating factors behind what's going one

They can never destroy those drugs. Those drugs are worth billions if not trillions. Extremely costly. Do your checks.
This very NAFDAC headed by an agbadorian woman insisted that the traders will not be present during the break ins. Not only that, they ferried the drugs away at MIDNIGHTS! Ask the people living at Onitsha.

The problem with this is that even if after, if it was found out that these drugs are good, you can't locate the owners because you have not way to prove flwhere you got them. It was not the case during Akunyili, who made sure that traders were present when their shops were being searched.
What is happening at Onitsha is daylight robbery.
Criminal Nafdac stealing and looting people goods in the name of fighting and combacting fake drugs.

They ferry the drugs and other items they looted in the market at night because they have the ulterior motive to sell them.

Nafdac is just like Nigeria customs. Stealing, looting and re selling people goods. Criminals in government.

Drugs from the US, Britain, Turkey are the main drugs they looted. These drugs do not have NAFDAC numbers because the pharmaceutical companies there do not have the time to come to Nigeria and go through all sorts of "exams". And you know what? These are the most original and the costliest drugs in that market. I have people in that market and they are telling me that NAFDAC totally looted the place. Infact, it is taking them time to reopen the market because of the uproar that might follow.
Even if it original. As long as it is not NAFDAC approved ....it will be seized and destroyed.....
What's stopping them from getting NAFDAC approval? You spent millions of naira importing drugs , but don't have time to get approval, what kinda foolishness is that ?

I am all ready compiling some lists of drugs sold in Lagos , that don't have Nafdac approval....and where they are stored and those pharmacies buying them.....

Soludo is too weak to fight and defend the interest of his people. So , count him out.

Nafdac is just like customs. Nothing more, Nothing less!

They just break up people shops and beginning to loot anytime they feel they are broke in the name of fighting fake drugs and goods.

Am also seeing this fight as an covert economic fight against the people of the South East.

Tinubu and criminal tribal henchmen brothers feels they are tired of Igbos shenanigans in Lagos, so they need to extend it nationwide since they are now In power. But they operation will be covert rather than overt.

Approval means bribing Nafdac and other sorts of illegal payments they will be ask to pay. You talk as if you don't know Nigeria.

Customs will charge them for high import duties together with the bribes and settlement they will pay to the police and army checkpoint together with the cost of transport and logistics. And also Nafdac cut corners fees.

With all these, which money will they also used to run their business. That's why drugs is very expensive in Nigeria.

If it is original. It is compulsory for them to get NAFDAC approval. Getting NAFDAC approval doesn't mean bribery. Follow the right channel, not through backdoor, if your hand are clean.....

Answer to the bold......An average Nigerian like to dish out ridiculous excuses........you are making excuses for people who are not doing the right thing......
So they should just ship in any drugs to Nigeria and sell without getting NAFDAC approval? Do you know how many Nigerians have died or dying or battling serious illness because of all these fake or unapproved drugs ?

Useless son of a bitch. How do you know that I am Yoruba? Useless Igbos producing fake and adulterated products killing innocent people. I won't be surprised if the people that stole it are your fellow criminal Igbos.

Look at this one giving excuses for criminality. If you are caught can you boldly say this before a judge? Just like saying hunger is a justification for stealing! Pathetic!

Exactly my thoughts..
This is what is going on; an ethnic economic war disguised as a federal government operation to rid the society of fake drugs. I hope they don't enter Alaba and main market to "fight" a "war" against "fake" TVs and "fake" electronics. That is after collecting monies at every entry points for running "quality checks" on imports, not to talk of their astronomically high import duties. They have been able to get away with this primitive war on igbo businesses this far simply because at the moment, igbo leadership is basically dead. No one speaks firmly for the south-east anymore. The other two that used to draw attention to the SE whenever things like this happen, are in prisons.

This is nothing but an attempt by the Lagos gang in power at Abuja to derail the economic growth of an average south easterner. Igbo economic successes in the South West is genuinely starting to worry them. You can feel the tribal tinge associated with the whole exercise. The whole narratives around the exercise are skewed so dangerously by government hirelings to suggest that all that the igbos do to make money are fake products, drugs and rituals.. Watch all online spaces and you will see a desperation to make sure that this evil label sticks.. Itbis not a coincidence.

To cage these easterners economically is a task that must be done, so they have tried bulldozing down houses and businesses belongings to igbos in the South west, it did not work. That was after burning or tearing down markets there for the flimsiest of reasons. They skyrocketed import duties to high heavens, it did not work. They raised the number of internal police check points around markets in the east with the normal "toll gates", it did not work. So now, they have decided to be going into the markets to loot the shops by themselves like the Oyenusis and co, in the name of NAFDAC checks..

You have no case against the NAFDAC officials even if you see them live taking your money . So long as one single counterfeit or expired drug can be found in your premise then maybe you are not even registered or licensed to do business. Infact you will pay more sef..

I just watched the clip it appears to be a couple of police or military collecting traders goods early on a day that may be onday sit-at-home, so they may be IPOB / UGM dressed in police uniform whilst enforcing sit at home.
jmoore:
I am not shocked. Some police men attached to them are thieves. Some traders kept cash in their shops and you broke in without inviting them.

Here's a video of police men stealing goods in Aba in 2023.
