| Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by honey001(m): 10:10pm On Mar 15, 2025 |
Enskynelson:It's pending. The courses are History of Education in Nigeria and Guidance and Counselling. |

honey001:Try and contact your department because it's unusual. Results are either graded with the score or Incomplete. Send a ticket via support site and wait for their responses . PGD.Education student, I suppose. |

Enskynelson:I thought any one with a bachelor's from a STEM course can go for PGD in IT? My bachelor's was in Microbiology and I'm currently registered

Rhyah:https://www.nouonline.nou.edu.ng/ Please check Under application and check if you are qualified. That is the portal that will determine your fate and the requirements there supercedes any other one else. If you are currently enrolled in the programme, how did you bypass the required UG qualification, since your course is not listed there? Go to your application form and see if you filled in your qualification (B.Sc. Microbiology). If you did, the portal will tell you that you are not qualified for the programme. |

Enskynelson:Bypass? Nah...I have too much integrity... and btw who wants to waste money and time to start a program built on the basis of fraud? If you check my previous post on this thread, I wanted to go for MSc, but when I checked the criteria, I knew that could not fly for me, not without a PGD. This PGD is like a conversion for me. I love the work you're doing here... Here's a screenshot from my student portal

Enskynelson:Yes PGDE, I have raised tickets, no response yet. I will be at the study centre tomorrow by God's grace. Thanks bro. |
| Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 11:47am On Mar 16, 2025 |
Rhyah:By Bypass, what I mean is this... Some people go to the cafe and then let some one fill the form. At the end of the day, they select a different course and apply. Edit the PDF and print and a verification officer who doesn't know much will verify. Some courses that obviously seems qualified not listed on the portal won't give you admission. When you fill the form, you won't have the admission. That's how the system is designed. Sometimes last semester, we happened to interact with the HOD of Health Sciences and we called his attention to the fact that that the system doesn't accept someone with HND Public Health to be admitted into 300L of B.Sc Public Health. It was an error he said will be fixed and till now, the portal has not been programmed to accept such. I am sorry if my use of bypass was misunderstood. If you filled your application form yourself, good and fine otherwise, this present portal with the requirements listed therein, the system will reject your application because your course is not listed as one that is qualified for the programme |

Enskynelson:I understand you quite well. No offense taken. Personally, I believe the OP has a chance as he/she is from a STEM background. He can make more enquiries though. I've always seen PGD as a means of changing fields or upgrading one's pass or third class BSc. grade. You already suggested a path he could also take too...so that's fine. |
