In a heroic display of linguistic gymnastics, TikTok user Wynd88 has come to the defense of Temitope Ajayi, boldly declaring that delibrate is the correct spelling and that deliberate is, in fact, wrong.

Ajayi, a media aide to President Tinubu, found himself in the middle of a social media storm after calling for capital punishment against a corps member who criticized his principal. Following the backlash, he quickly attempted to clarify, insisting he meant the highest punishment under NYSC rules, not the death penalty. However, his explanation contained an even greater crime against the English language.


“The mob get their oxygen from misrepresentations and delibrate mischief,” Ajayi wrote, instantly sending grammar enthusiasts into cardiac arrest.


Social media users wasted no time pointing out that delibrate is, well, not a word. But Wynd88 was having none of it. In a furious counterattack, he lashed out at the critics, branding them as illiterates who lacked a good command of English. He insisted that delibrate was correct, and anyone saying otherwise was simply too uneducated to understand Ajayi’s advanced grasp of the English language.


To cement his point, Wynd88 took the ultimate stand, blocking and muting anyone who dared to challenge the divine correctness of delibrate.
