He also mentioned how our crude production level may drop when boys hit the pipelines, just today we read of pipeline being blown by unknown gunmen |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 1:35pm On Mar 18, 2025 |
Nigeria is second only to India for open defecation, it's not so far-fetched that Lagos, the country's most populated state would suffer the most in this regard, especially with a government that's failed to make sanitation a priority. The country really needs do something about sanitation and sewage treatment, too many persons losing their lives over easily preventable diseases. |

You can all curse out yourselves on this thread, Nigeria could be on the precipice, governors might get impeached or you get analyzing the female anatomy, but as long as Israel shoots or intercepts 50 rockets daily and pictured body parts to go with it, Ballzproblem doesn't a give tuppence about what else happens in the world. Everyday and for months on end. Now that's consistency. |

Theflint1:as in - every morning if you go out jogging, you will meet guys casually shitting into the gutter ![]() i am not sure it is so much the government as it is the average nigeran |

https://www.nairaland.com/8371368/man-caught-fresh-human-head @theflint1, what is really going on? abi because you guys are back in APC you are going all out to beat sw states in all indices and make up for the lost 4 years |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 2:14pm On Mar 18, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:The government is part of the problem. The system is another part but the system is made up of the government, its agencies, and the people. The average Nigerian is not defecating in gutters abroad. As in the same guy you see using the gutter will clean up, go to the airport the same day, land in Amsterdam that night, and never defecate in the gutter. Magical stuff. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 2:19pm On Mar 18, 2025 |
afrodoc2:actually it IS a NIGERIAN issue you will see obviously wealthy people step down from late moel suvs to piss in the road. when there is eatery close by where they can piss. Lagos mandated petrol stations and eateries and supermarkets to have accessible public toilets for this reason and they have all complied . i have had unfortunate incidents and i have rushed to the nearest eatery or supermarket or petrol station to clear my bowels. imho it starts right from the home. because i also regularly see people tell their children to piss against car tire in a mall with a toilet |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 2:22pm On Mar 18, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:The people def have their part, but it's by far a governance issue and it goes beyond just saying "no more open defecation", it's a multifaceted problem. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 2:23pm On Mar 18, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:Do these wealthy Nigerians come down from their cars to piss on the road when they travel abroad? |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 2:38pm On Mar 18, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:How many of these eateries and petrol stations can you trust their toilets won't be an eyesore? What is the state doing to ensure that these places not only have toilets, but adhere with some basic level of hygiene? And this point you raised is just one in several other aspects of the state's sanitation. I'd imagine there's a policy framework sef, with like I expect maybe 100 unique things that tie into the state's sanitation...to what extent has the state implemented what is in their policy document if there's one? |
