I owned my 1st car at 25,a camry big daddy,sold it at 28,bought an evil spirit,sold it after a year,then bought crv 09 model,drove and crashed it after a 2years,bought lexus IS250,I sold it in a hurry after maintenance wan wreck me,I couldn't afford to buy new muzzle as per dollar rate,so I got a year used muzzle and aside rhe ac compressor I never change anything reach tyres.i hardly drove it cos of fuel

Owning a car gives u controlled spending.
The day I decide to take pub transport ,I'd find myself spending lose to 13k on nonsense.but the day I drive,I won't spend up to 5k both on fuel and booze.

This post would have made sense without the age limit...!

This right here makes it unrealistic and can create needless desperation among young people with terrible consequences on society as a whole.

We are already grappling with an unprecedented level of crimes and Rituals.

A lot of you Nigerians focus so much on age and this is clearly due to needless competitiveness amongst yourselves.


Who told you people that money is the sole measure of success in life?!!

Who says having more money than others makes you more fulfilled and happier than they are?!!


Starting from the author of this thread, you guys need serious mental reorientation about the realities of life.

I have not endorsed poverty o! For those who lack intelligence... Get rich if you can, but let it be legit and without needless desperation.



At the end of the day, we brought nothing into this life, and when our lives inevitably end, we leave with nothing.

I spent almost 260k within 4days and couldn't give account how I spent the money. The things I bought were just petty stuffs like pampers, detergent, milk and few other stuffs.

That money could sustain a family of four for months few years back before A Pee Cee took over.



It would be difficult for those who haven't made it before to make it in this present day Nigeria, that's just the truth......Don't pressure people to indulge in crime, everybody get his/her time.

At 35 conquer your mind as a man. Don't let the world own you at this stage of life. Do this, don't do that. You'll get to your 40s and the doctor will tell you to start walking and do some exercises. Don't let the world fool you with their definition of what you are and who you are.

They should commit crime in the name of doing everything possible before they clock 35

I only pity some unthinking guys who would get depressed for not meeting your useless standards. As for people like myself, I'll gladly do my things at my own pace. I'll buy my cars and build my houses when I have the means! Not at a particular age you ''expect'' me to.

Me too, I am 36. I am still doing assignment for people. I don’t even have a job despite having a PhD.

If only we could all be serious about getting saved before it's too late. For whatever we acquired on Earth either by age 35 or earlier, we'll all still leave for others to enjoy, who might not even value our sacrifice. So, Life at the end is really vanity of vanities.

They told me car is a liability... I was just in the midst of wrong advisers including uncles and relatives. I don't know if it was intentional but I regret taking there advises including my dad advice. Sometimes, I think a child can be wiser than his elders. I think I was but I was too obedient. Unfortunately, there was no easy access to internet then at least it could have helped me compare better advice.

If you are in your 20s, get a land no matter how cheap and get a car for business and mobility. As it gets old, sell it and buy another one. Always have at least one car then marry the wife of your youth e get why.

The 35 years old that are still struggling for NYSC allowance? Y'all compare your reality with others who can barely feed themselves.
