Why Was Wike Not Punished? by Dalohad(op):
Mr President you declared a state of emergency in Rivers, suspending the Governor and his deputy.

This is hardly heard of since the return to democracy in 1999.

Wike- the biggest factor in the whole quagmire rocking Rivers State was allowed to go unscathed. He will now sit in FEC and decide what happens in Rivers State. Exactly what he has always wanted.

If you were truly impartial, you should have also punished Wike the way you punished Gov. Fubara.

Some respected analysts have made it clear that you DECLARED A COUP ON THE GOOD PEOPLE OF RIVERS STATE by removing their elected leaders.

As you have clearly choosen to 'ride or die' with Wike. I wish you Godspeed from here on.

Tinubu clearly lacks the wisdom of Solomon.

Wike wanted the child (Rivers state) divided (Burnt), if he won't have it. Fubara was ready to compromise like the woman that loved her child.

King I-no-be-Solomon Tinubu, decided to burn the divide and burn the child.

My people, you can now draw your conclusion on whether your president is wise or not..

He wanted the state seized from Fubara and Tinubu played to his tunes.

Punish Wike for what?
Re: Why Was Wike Not Punished? by MAR2012: 9:14pm On Mar 18, 2025
If Tinubu punishes Wike, he will loose a key ally in rigging of election.

He also risk getting a fight from Wike just like he is getting from El Rufai.

And when it comes to fight, Woke fights dirty.

You are illiterate. Focus on your empty Kwara state.

Anyone trying to spin this as a real win for Wike is just denying the obvious. When Wike started this fight, In his wildest dreams did he think this fight will last 2 years and would take Tinubu to personally declare a state of emergency to save him from losing to Fubara.

A win for Wike would be to impeach Fubara and have the speaker loyal to him to take over. A boy boy governor he can boss around. Not for Tinubu to declare a state of emergency and put a retired millitary man in charge , that Wike will not be able to kick around as he likes.

Infact, Wike is likely to get a worse deal in terms of control of Rivers compared to what Fubara offered him that he thought was not enough

Even with all the technical support Tinubu gave Wike and all the Supreme Court kangaroo judgements , wike still couldn’t impeach Fubara. If Tinubu did not announce a state of emergency today , Fubara would finish his term and likely win a 2nd term.

The truth is Fubara fought him to standstill, craze for craze. By now, Wike knows he has no monopoly of craze.
Tinubu saved him from total disgrace of losing to Fubara

Thats the truth!

That said ,
The greatest advise I can give Fubara now is to go on exile. Wike might have been unable to win the impeachment fight, but with help of federal might, He will deal with u now that have no immunity
It’s obvious Tinubu doesn’t like you that much either. If u don’t want to spend. Good vacation time In jail, run!!!!
