Dalohad:It baffles me whenever i read a one sided analysis. Why are you blaming the president and Wike? Fubara dug his own grave. He started the fight too early and brutally by burning the HOAS complex. The SC judgement has nailed his coffin politically. |

*Chief Obafemi Awolowo's reply to state of emergency in 1962* Read Awolowo's full speech on my WhatsApp channel https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va40vnT2ZjCvULkMna2y On May 29, yes, May 29, 1962, as the Federal Parliament sought to pass the resolution to declare a state of emergency in Western Nigeria, Chief Awolowo made this speech on the floor of the Parliament. It was ominous. The NPC led government had their way and declared the state of emergency. The effect of that decision materialised fully in January 1966. Does a govt have right to overthrow a another govt in a federation? No. |

Dalohad:It has being the plan all along way before now as an option. it is a hydra approach to tackle Sim and take control. Hence the hastiness of the proclamation. The unfortunate thing is that come 2027, Nigeria will forget all these and remember only the stomach and hunger. I hope someboy in the opposition is taking memiors of all these mishap and brring to remembrance when it is 2027 just o remind people where they are coming from else.... Nigeria are under this government for the long ride. |

Fubara should thank God he's not been impeached before the declaration, otherwise that should have been the end of the road. Fubara still have some hope after six months because no one will be thinking about impeachment again but every stakeholders will want some peace to accommodate their interest !! |

It's the dumb statements that brought them to this in the first place, gragra, they even burnt down Rivers state assembly complex. Fubara made wrong statements, like he was giving the criminal gangs greenlight. A president must use his powers when necessary to maintain law and order, we can not allow anarchy and innocent rivers people suffer because of greedy politicians. State of emergency is in order. |

Islie:Wike and Fubara reaping from the whirlwind they sowed to favour Tinubu during 2023 Presidential election. You can't beat karma. Rivers was used to bring this government to power. So they have to pay for it |

I support Tinubu on this one. To prevent bloodshed and economic fatalism.Let that SoE be declared. It means none of them lose .Let them go and rest first |

Make them rest now as they have succeeded in taking over rivers. Our democracy is always against the will of the people. Grab and run with it. Before Nigeria go commot from the hands of APC and tinubu, we go hear am and nobi today 2027 is a goal. Even these ones shouting in the north needs small settlement and some are stooges to destabilize the opposition. |

All of you shameless Yorubas celebrating this wickedness are fuuls. Governor SIM has every reason to hold his head high. He faught for over a year and it had to take the grand master of evil himself to unseat him. No Yoruba man dead or alive can achieve this feat. The drunkard Wike was crying from one place to another for over a year. He couldn't lay his hand on Rivers money. That's called guts! |
