I am just wondering which would have been the best option for Tinubu. To caution Wike or to create a State of emergency situation in Rivers State ?
I personally feel cautioning Wike would have been a wise decision to take in this situation. It could even endear Tinubu to the people of Rivers State and the Governor.

If you have ever played politics in Nigeria,u will understand why the president has decided to choose Wike over fubara.Fubara is moving with the enemies of the president openly and u expect the president to Abandon Wike and go beg him for support in 2027?The people supporting Fubara in rivers are all Atiku supporters and the president as a seasoned politician can't Abandon Wike for fubara.Wike has shown that once he is loyal to a course or Person,he does so wholeheartedly.I personally don't like the way Wike has handled this fubara issue,but i understand the position of the president.

Those fools are just emotional n not logical, fubara have atiku n co as supporters with obi Mumu online warriors firing from all cylinders meaning if fubara wins River state vote is gone.

But as it stands now even if fubara will come back, he would have been automatically disconnected from atiku n any other opponents n he will pledge total allegiance n loyalty

It's basic politics and unfortunately many commentators don't understand this.The president can't Abandon Wike for rivers state.Wike is his sure bet in rivers state.Wike dey loyal finish once he decides to support anybody.Wike nor dey do "Agada" for politics.If Wike is with you,he is 100%,if he is not with you,he will say it openly.The only problem i have with Wike is his lack of decorum.Abeg make Wike dey calm down.

All the president could do is suspend a sitting governor and house of assembly members without cautioning the instigator of the crises, and you see nothing wrong in it? Stupidity and blind followership will ruin your already ruined life more.

Caution Wike how? Is it Wike that demolished the house of Assembly? Is it Wike that refused to present the 2024 and 2025 budget to the Rivers State house of Assembly? Is Wike the one that appointed commissioners without getting them screened by the Rivers house of Assembly as required by law? Is it Wike that withheld the funds of Rivers State house of assembly since 2023?

So, how will cautioning Wike remedy all these constitutional violations? How will cautioning Wike bring back the demolished house of assembly? How will cautioning Wike ensure that the legislative arm of government in the state is allowed to function as required by the constitution?
