Hohaiiiode:Oga, isn’t everyone supposed to be entitled to his own opinion? FT should also have their brains checked? Are you saying that they should have continued to defend the dollar? Are you saying that they should have continued paying subsidies? |

Truly, Asiwaju policies are very difficult and hard however it's the only way to Niheria progress and greatness, By the time he completed the first and second face of Lagos Calabar Coastal Road, the entire lane will be turned to China of Africa. Wise men should go and buy lands along the coast now, Igbo guys and Chinese have nearly bought every land finished along the coast. |

Osiris12:The problem here is that all these APC asslickers know the truth but prefer to align with propaganda despite knowing that businesses are folding up unprecedentedly every day. My happinesses is that APC urchins are not enjoying any economic preferences. |

The foreign analyst base your opinions on what they THINK is happening following the removal of subsidies, increase in taxes and devaluation of the naira, and not based on what is actually happening. I mean, It is ridiculous to say the Nigeria has become a better place for investors when it is losing solid investors faster than new ones are coming in. It is ridiculous to say the economy is improving when SMEs, the backbone of any country, are shutting down in thier thousands. It is ridiculous to say the economy is improving when there is such widespread hunger in the land and majority of the people can barely afford one decent meal a day. |

Bimow:Is that not how he has made Lagos progress into greatness over the past 26 years of massive IGR squeezed out of the people plus huge federal allocation and loans, but failed to have pipe borne water in all houses. In this 21st century for someone who trained and lived in Chicago ![]() obonujoker: Lawmaker scores Lagos Water Corporation low |

djon78:The point is Tolaram has significant presence in Nigeria and has a Nigerian who is MD of the Lagos Free Zone on its board. While Tolaram is headquarted in Singapore - it does have a solid presence in Nigeria. Shares of Guinness have not been taken off the exchange meaning it is still publicly traded as a NGX listed company. NGX companies are Nigerian companies the ultimate control irrespective. But the specific idea I was refuting is that the exit of foreign blue chip countries from Nigeria is a sign of economic regressions. Tolarams turn around of Guinness in an astonishingly short time puts paid to such ideas. |
