Was Tinubu Trying To Save Fubara by yoruboid(op):
If the state of emergency had not been declared, there’s no way Sim Fubara would have remained governor in another three weeks as he would have been impeached

The six months will give him time to re-strategize and mend fences with the state’s house of assembly members so his return will be stronger and safer

Tinubu is light years ahead of a lot of politicians

Good one.

In order words, Wike is about to taste his first dose of sophisticated betrayal. Let's break it down for all to understand.
# If Fubara wins without abiding to Wike's dictation, Wike loses and will regret pitching tent with Tinubu. Rivers state will benefit only from this scenario.
#If Fubara loses by being kicked out entirely and Wike's stooge foisted on Rivers state, her treasury goes to Wike and Tinubu leaving Rivers state dry without development and her people to suffer.
#If Fubara compromises and negotiates afresh with Wike, neither will be satisfied and Rivers state will still suffer because Fubara might end up starting to think for himself too. Rivers state will not be different from second scenario.
Meanwhile, in all of these scenarios, the constant remains what Tinubu stands to gain. Only the first scenario will limit Tinubu's hands on Rivers state treasury. As at today, Tinubu will loot Rivers state for 6 months using this military administrator. If scenario 2 or 3 happen, he will loot it for 2 years guaranteed.
The only option to prevent Rivers state losing out is to ensure the sitting governor who have refused to sell out the state continue on his mandate. They should wait for him in 2027 instead of this SOE. For now, everyone has seen Tinubu's desperation to control Rivers for money and stolen votes for 2027.

The post lack intelligence, but you are a posting a theory you assumed.
Try this for another theory, everything is about local government election. the aim is to install Wike's boys as local government elected chairmen, hereby returning the political structure back to Wike. since they cannot achieve that with Fubara as governor, they have to create an atmosphere for state of emergency, then get a puppet as sole administrator to conduct a local government election within six month.
President Tinubu has been an active participant in the plot from the onset. his hasty declaration and the supreme court judgement is a proof of his culpabaility.

I love this move from Tinubu.

It gives the governor time to strategize and re-establish his relationship with the lawmakers.

Obviously you lack comprehension.....
Your post is a theory, an assumption. I gave you another theory (assumption) to chew on in order to get a balance view.
It is unfortunate that you cannot think independently. calling me a clown doesnt make you sound intelligent, it only show what you lack.
