How? This is a matter of national security. They're destroying national assets by carrying out attacks on pipelines which is economic damage. Tensions are high in the state and in some quarters, people are making threats to make the state ungovernable- two incidents of explosion within 24 hours. Do you know how much it'll cost those companies to fix those things back. I would have done same if you want to jeopardize this country. WIK and SIM shoul fix their mess to avoid jeopardising frantic efforts of the security community.

I honestly feel sorry for Fubara because reality is hitting him hard now, you can’t easily fight the same people who helped you rise to power. I just hope he finds a way to settle things with Wike, at least for the next 6 months, so he can hold on and make a comeback.

But to be honest, this might be the right time for Fubara to switch things up. If I were him, I’d consider decamping to APC and cutting a deal with Tinubu’s government. Tinubu’s main focus is securing Rivers ahead of the next election, and right now Wike can’t fully deliver because Rivers is still a PDP state.

If Fubara moves to APC and gets his loyalists to follow him, he could sideline Wike and work directly with Tinubu.

Politics is tricky and full of surprises, but to protect himself, Fubara really needs to sit with the elders and make a smart move now.
