That was the game plan right from inception. It has nothing to do with today but has a lot to do with 2027. Fubara will still be impeached because rivers state is a technical state for APC and they know with Fubara body language, if they allow him, they will loose the state in 2027. Fubara and Tinubu will still have a lot to do together. Tinubu need him and Wike to work for him. By the end of sixth month. Tinubu would have succeeded in bringing Fubara to his side. They will promise him second term and that's an offer he wouldn't let any mob snatch from him. He will reach compromise and resume back as the governor. This is not the outcome I was looking for in this rivers conundrum.I still feel Wike should have done better in handling Fubara.I don't blame the president for taking this step to sure up his base for rivers state come 2027.Fubara was moving with Atiku and other opposition figures and i suspect he was funding the expected opposition Alliance, which may have alarmed the president. 6 Likes |
