When all this Palestinian nonsense is over they would look back and curse sinwar and hamas, for now the veil of hatred is over their eyes I'm sure for divine reasons. They're still salivating over a land without Israel ,the NPC in the West are not helping matters they cheering these people to their further destruction.

Iran their proxies collapsing should have been the warning sign for them ,even Hezbollah raised white flag, but no ,they still think this is fun and games, until they start to expel them from Gaza , then they'll know that the endgame is nigh , I'm just here to enjoy every moment cool of it.

Auschwitz all over again, this is rich coming from someone whose family might have been victims of war crimes in years gone by. I don't blame you because the only thing we learn from history is we don't learn from history.
You are doing a good job so far by doing the dirty job for your audience who are too ashamed to say what you have been dishing out but only cheer you on like spectators watching a circus performance

Its not Yaya now, Its Ododo using state powers doing what Yaya failed to

How best to remove someone? Just announce an impromptu election on a Wednesday during Ramadan. A voting population of 500k normally will have 5000 people mostly party loyalists and just get ratified
https://www.nairaland.com/8374209/constituents-push-recall-natasha-inec

However, our correspondent gathered that constituents were reportedly tricked into appending their signature after a town crier went around Okehi on Tuesday, inviting people for money.

Our correspondent also contacted the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Gabriel Longpet, who denied any knowledge of a recall.

“I am not aware of any recall process, apart from the unconfirmed reports flying about on social media.

“No one has contacted me about any recall in any part of the state,” Longpet said.

PUNCH Online recalls that Akpoti-Uduaghan is currently serving a six-month suspension after she allegedly ran foul of Senate rules during a face-off with the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio

She subsequently accused the Senate president of alleged sexual harassment.

PUNCH Online reports that a petition for recall of a lawmaker shall be presented to the Chairman of the
Commission by representatives of the petitioners, having notified the member sought to be recalled, in writing, of the receipt of the petition.
There was something off about the whole exercise. And the fact it was not actually covered by any real news organizations. It is just yeye bellow finding small work for his internet gang now he is out of office.

FakeNEWSevryday:
Abeg let's drop all these back and forth arguments. If the killings had continued for a second or third day (God forbid), a state of emergency would have been declared. Do you really expect SOE to be declared as a measure for a one-off incident?
How many days the rift and tussle in river state has be ongoing without any hope of peace in sight? So you want federal government to fold their hands without any intervention?

And to those asking why the presidency hasn’t declared a state of emergency in the North due to banditry against farmers, when asked to provide evidence of states where farming has been completely halted, you go silent without presenting any concrete proof. So, where do you think the tomatoes, peppers, yams, and beans that aboki traders sell to us come from? Europe?

Does it make sense to declare a state of emergency simply because bandits are disturbing farmers?
What of the kidnapping that happens everyday and in every state? (even this one is worst)
The reality is that no state in this country has been spared from banditry, it’s just a matter of scale. Ondo has been affected, just like Oyo and Ogun. What about the southeastern states? Why is the focus always on the North?
If the presidency want to declare SOE because of bandtry against farmers it means no single state in the nation will be left alone.
[color=royalblue]You missed my point, and maybe because you probably didn't follow the discussion from the beginning.

He said the demolition of the Assembly complex is enough to declare a SoE because lives and properties must be protected

And I said it's not true. If you are saying lives and properties are the major reasons for SoE, then 300 deaths in one day is enough for that.

Today we will officially confirm if the State of Emergency will be ratified by the Parliament.

"If the president fails to secure the two-thirds majority in both chambers to approve the emergency rule by Thursday as stipulated in the constitution, Tinubu will be forced to revoke his proclamation, effectively restoring Fubara and his administration".

GloriousGbola as someone who is familiar with Oil and gas industry, can a blown pipeline be repaired and begin operation 2 days after it was destroyed?

risk analysis/assessment
heavy machinary mobilisation
RCA
LOTOTO
Welding (I'm guessing argon)
And other hotwork done.
Flow testing
Etc
Is it possible to have these done and completed in 2 days in our oil industry?

vanitybuti-wanti:
No, the process is too long, impeachment takes at least 6 months, Governor will still be in control of Rivers money and he also has the chief Judge on his side. The declaration of the state of emergency was a master strategy, no one saw it coming. It was all planned, they capitalised on the governors flippant speeches and set the tone for the SOE by starting the process of impeachment. This is raw politics.
GloriousGbola:
hmmm

what i am reading between the lines is that it may not have been fubaras boys that vandalized the pipe lines, but a convenient accident staged after his poorly thought out speech

fubara would've cautioned those militants who were making videos of blowing up pipelines..if it was obi, he would have dissociated himself from them

But fubara didn't, he also said he'd give his boys the matching order when the time comes..

So I think 💬 the pipeline blowing has fubaras hand written all over it..

I don't think 💬 wike is too intelligent to exploit that loophole of fubara and orchestrate a psyop like blowing the pipeline to make it look like it's fubara..

Wike is not that intelligent 🧠 to think of such angle

The question is this. Was a pipeline blown up?

That's why I am asking if a blown pipeline can be fixed and returned back to operation in 2 days in Nigeria's oil and gas system

It's not even remotely possible, forget about anything Ronu people will tell you..

Problem is that there's a vast majority of fools in this country..The process involved in getting a blown up pipeline to function again is not a 72hrs shift..

The few smart people are already now questioning it, I didn't even want to argue about it..

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by HansiBobo: 11:33am On Mar 20, 2025
"A Manufactured Crisis for Political Control

This State of Emergency declaration is not about security—it is about power. The disagreements within Rivers State stem from the defection of 27 Assembly members from the PDP to the APC, their loss of seats under constitutional provisions, and the subsequent political manoeuvring to undermine the Governor’s mandate.

Rather than allowing the law to take its course, the federal government has engineered a crisis to justify this unconstitutional action. The excuse of pipeline vandalism—an issue squarely under the control of federal security agencies and privately contracted security firms—is laughable. If security breaches are the concern, the first question should be: Who controls the police, the military, and the DSS? The Governor or the President"?..
They couldn't have said it better. It's a manufactured political crisis. The governor does not control the DSS, Police, Navy, Airforce or Army.

Meanwhile, I expected Obi to attend this conference in person rather than sending representative.

Peter Obi should have been in the press conference, I get why he might be playing it careful, but he's overdoing it.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 11:53am On Mar 20, 2025
Tinubu is a rash politician though, that much is clear. He's not the measured and strategic thinker that his fanboys often portray him to be.

Any politician, regardless of party affiliation should be wary of a president having the right to just dislodge the governance apparatus of a state, over what could be a carefully orchestrated crisis situation.

The upper and lower houses have 48 hours to reach a resolution, and this resolution would require every member of each house to be physically present and register their votes and if a 2/3 majority is reached, then the SOE stands. If they fail to reach a consensus today, the guy that was appointed by Tinubu would be from Friday be there illegally.

I've said it before and I will say it again; Peter Obi has shown extreme weakness in the face of these bad leaders.
I wish he had sowore's activist mindset blended together with his technical acumen.

Peter Obi is a knowledgeable man but his man-management has proven to be zero.
His refusal to assume full charge and authority over labor party since after the election and the breakdown of all new converts into the party shows his abysmal leadership. It's almost as if he had zero political instincts needed to attain leadership and maximize follwership.

Peter Obi has failed us all. Look at Kenneth okonkwo, look at valentine ozigbo and many others. People who were strongest allies and have come to a conclusion that Obi does not know what exactly he wants.

Peter Obi killed every enthusiastic political hopes I had. He has thoroughly failed as a leader of the opposition. We made a mistake naming the movement obidient movement because detaching from the man now seems almost impossible but obidients need a better leader.

You don't have to trust anybody here. Your presence is very important because at the end of the day you have to append your official signature to endorse the official Communique. It could be Fubara and Rivers State today, tomorrow it might be Anambra state. Electoral malpractice is a national problem, I can tell you that LP also rigged against PDP in the East and also Rivers State in the 2023 presidential election yet Atiku is there in person. He did not send delegate.
Obi should have been there.

2ndly, Obi doesn't use his electoral constituency to the maximum. There's a reason Atiku deleted his tweet condemning that Sokoto Christian student incident, he was simply appealing to his supporters.
Go to X, TikTok and other social media platforms, I have not seen any Obidient follower endorsing the SOE. There leader should be at the forefront fighting against illegality and unconstitutionalism.

No be only when he lose election he go dey issue world press conference. Nobody will take him serious

I remember how u cussed Wike all over the thread after the robbery he supervised at the polls in 2023 o.
