I lost a shoe wading through almost waist-deep filthy brown water.

Those axis affected are usually FG roads. They were poorly planned, ignoring the original topography and drainage routes of the areas. You can't cheat nature. Another worrying anomaly is the filling and erection of structures on moats.

Among top 5 largest cities in Nigeria, yet all these still happening. Road and proper drainage has been a long time challenge in Benin city. Nigerian government can do better.

Obaseki didn't do better in that aspect but I must commend the good work of his predecessor Adams Oshiomhole, who constructed a lot of roads with well pave drainages.
The present governor should re-introduce monthly sanitation to reduce the problem of flooding in the state.

Rain has created work for the Governor. Pls award job for erosion control pls. God will bless you
