When asked about lessons they have learned from this trip, one of the visiting students from Harvard said he learnt about how private sector can help government to achieve the national goals, and how government in return can help the private sector to achieve their goals. I'm very sure none of the two commenters below took time to watch the video. Even people from far away Harvard aren't as ignorant as they are.

Same refinery that balablu and his demons in NNPC want to kill
They prefer a refinery in Trinidad and Tobago or Malta than a Nigerian own refinery
If not Tinubu, can you tell us the President in Nigeria that created the enabling environment via resolution between Dangote and NNPC.

These reforms and industrial dispute resolution resulted in functionality of Dangote refinery today.

Your hatred to Tinubu won't erase aforementioned contributions of the president on Dangote refinery.

All thanks to Nigerians.

Left for Tinubu and his Malta Blending Plant, Dangote Refinery wouldn’t have seen the light of the day.
You are perpetual wailer amd loser, you can't do more than to wail and gnash your teeth. Tinubu is your master and President and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces of Federal Republic of Nigeria

Not all Nigerian's cos most south easterners said dangote refinery can't work and one bitter guy even when to the extend, that is cousin mother brother who was working in the site, said even in ten years, he can't function. What a people. Hatred has killed many people. What an irony that some students from the most prestigious ivy university in the world came down to Lagos Nigeria to visit. Kudos to Dangote and the Tinubu who laid the proper foundation for dangote to site the refinery in Lagos without land acquisition challenges. My south south should learn from south west about the manners they go about hosting companies. Everything should not be deve. To the bitter neighbors, have a change mind.

Children of hate will always hate without even seeing reason to hate. They are filled with hate, born in hate and grown in hate. They are always sad to see any progress coming up in Nigeria. It's their nature, foundation and their habit. Nothing you and I can do about that.

Stop this hatred towards president Tinubu

How come this same Dangote refineries never function under the previous president?

Had president Tinubu not created that environment and negotiation, would you be talking about Dangote refineries today?

Una just dey hate for no meaningful meaning
Re: Harvard University Students Visit Dangote Refinery In Lagos by Lanruze: 10:07pm On Mar 22, 2025
That refinery was built with the major support of Godwin Emefiele & Akinwunmi Adeshina with syndicated loans from major Tier 1 Nigerian Banks.

President Buhari commissioned the Dangote Refinery and because of its size had to go into operational testing for six months which coincided with Tinubu's inauguration.

PBAT had no single input in the Dangote Refinery.

Infact, the 20% stake arrangement of NNPC was reduced to 7% under PBATs regime.

Get your fact right.

Even dangote himself said if not for Tinubu the refinery wouldn't be possible.
Of course what did you expect Dangote to say. He has to sing Tinubu's praise for peace to reign cool

Facts indeed
It was Buhari that signed PIA that ensured local crude allocation for refineries
It was Buhari who supported the refineries with billions of dollars which equates to the stake NNPCL has in the refinery today. They actually reneged on taking the rest of the stake after Buhari left office
It was GEJ who granted licence cut the refinery
It was even OBJ who first started the idea of private refineries

don't mind igbos. They so much deployed energy to castigate the refinery. Now that bigot want to include themselves to other sensible Nigerian's who identified with Dangote and Tinubu for making it a reality to have a functional refinery again. Hypocrites. They will continue to lose and be an outcast if they don't change their behaviors and demonic attitude.

Sometimes the best thing is to ignore these folks. There are too many crazy people in Nigeria and many of them are on Nairaland.
