National President of PROPATRAC Lauds Wike For Changing FCT Infrastructure Landscape

The National President of Progressive Organisation for Peace and Transformational Compliance (PROPATRAC), Princess Carol Ngozi has commended the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike for remaining focused in delivering modern infrastructure to residents of the nation's capital despite tough choices that have come with criticisms.

She describes Wike as the best FCT Minister in recent history of Abuja who has not only brought a new outlook to the infrastructure base in the city centre but has made massive investment in ensuring that satellite towns get a new lease of life both in social amenities and security.

Princess Carol Ngozi, the MD Kingdavid Project Limited said this on Tuesday in an interaction with journalists where she thanked President Tinubu for the choice of Wike as the FCT Minister.

As former board member of state and federal government agencies, she said Wike has remained undeterred in lending support to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu especially in ensuring that the second anniversary of the government in May is marked with life-changing structures that cut across roads, bridges, water projects, street lighting, and more.

She said, "One must understand the very difficult choices before the Minister in ensuring that Abuja becomes a modern city that will favourably compete with other capital cities across Africa.

"Changing the status quo and doing things differently has come with a temporary discomfort with FCT residents, but I think the bigger picture should be on the aftermath gains that come with such temporary discomfort.

"There is hardly any part of Abuja where one project or the other is not going on. The popular phrase in the lips of everyone is" Wike is working" and indeed he truly does", Princess Carol who also oversees company's operations in the area of project Development, Marketing, Financing, Asset Management and investor Relation and more said.

She urged the residents of Abuja to reciprocate to the kind gesture by protecting the infrastructure from theft and damage.

She further applauded His excellency, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike CON and prayed God bless and protect him.

Is he not doing the work? Has your state governor outperformed Wike in terms of development?

Today is Sunday, reserve the hatred for the new week

Wike Mr Project
Everyday we see the massive projects such as Hospitals, Schools, quality road, light rail going on in Abuja even Tinubu is shocked.

In less than 2 years Wike turn Abuja to construction site. People living in FCT satellite towns like Kuje, Abaji, Kwali are seeing roads springing up daily. He also create time to personally supervise them to ensure quality job. He has also empowered many River State indigenes in the FCT

Ireti Kingibe is now calm like ice water.

While as Governor Wike constructed 12 flyovers within 4 years using Julius Berger and crushed Ipob sit-at-home in Port Harcourt. Meanwhile Governor Ifeanyi Okowa use 8 years to construct only one substandard flyover in Asaba and litter the state with substandard road projects.

Does this include massive recruitment of workers to improve the relevant ratios for common services and utilities, such as the number of healthcare workers to the number of residents?

Or clueless blacks like us should continue to focus on the hardware of physical infrastructure and neglect the software of services and utilities made possible by an adequate number of workers who are well paid relative to politicians like Wike huh

If the ministers before him has done the things he's doing now, he would have concentrate on massive recruitment of workers. He has to start from somewhere.

A failure per excellence in the FCT. The hospitals have collapsed, basic infrastructure and equipment are non existent. Only one functioning dialysis machine in the whole of FCT hospitals. Schools have embarked on another strike action. Woke layed off healthcare workers who have been serving as locum in Government owed hospitals and has refused to pay them for 11 months. A very wicked man. He is fighting everyone . Even our minister, house of representatives members, land owners. Just everyone. FCT is one of the last states to implement the new minimum wage. He is still owing arreas. Go to settelite towns, no new infrastructure since the last government left. He just goes inside the city, scrapes roads and paints them. Some munchies who have not crossed Lagos ibadan express way are praising him. Try to conduct an election in the FCT today, Tinubu will not get 10% because of his abysmal performance and him using a mad man to disturb our peace in Abuja

How many terms has terrible T-Pain done in Lagos State, with his master plan for raising budget and tax burden on the people 70 times without commensurate improvements in government services and utilities from enough civil servants?

What is Tinubu doing with Lagos money apart from stealing it, considering his failure to deliver the basics of governance in 26 years, thereby making it a glorified ghetto huh

Potable water still luxury 23 years after return of democracy

WHILE the Federal Government continues to proliferate the country with dams, it is such an irony that a state like Lagos, with its massive, constant boast of being a megacity, cannot provide its residents, thereby forcing the bulk of them to take solace in the arms of water boreholes.

At regular intervals, the two major waterworks in the state, the Adiyan, and Iju get grounded leading to the non-availability of water. In April and May last year, for instance, they both produce less than 10% of their installed capacity.

As of today, Eti-Osa, Apapa, Victoria Island, Badagry, Ibeju Lekki, Surulere, Ikorodu, Agege, Ojo, Mushin Kosofe, and most locations in the state are without access to clean water. Consequently, millions of residents now rely on boreholes, rivers, rainwater, as well as comprised wells for their water needs.

On its website, the LWC claims that it has a total installed water production capacity of 210 million gallons per day (MGD), which is far lower than the current estimated daily water demand of 540 million gallons per day.

Also, its plan to produce 745 million gallons per day by the year 2020 through the Lagos Water Supply Master Plan fell flat with the actual number of citizens having access to potable water dropping, rather than increasing 11 years after the launch of the master plan.

A senior staff of LWC, who preferred anonymity said that at present, its agency only supplies water to Lekki, parts of Ikoyi, Victoria Island (VI), Ojodu, Iju, and some parts of Ikotun.

What Bala Mohammed who is the present Bauchi state governor could not achieve. His main negative is that he is a third term Rivers state governor.
