One of the reasons I supported a Trump presidency was because his administration will say the harsh truths compared to dem lovey-dovey Democrats. Both parties have similar agendas for Africa(ns), but different approaches. Yes, China has disrupted that model and it pains them so badly that the Chinese cannot be bullied or attacked. This is not Japan that lacks nuclear weaponry or have military bases. Honestly, the rise of China has been an immense blessing to the rest of the world. It is why Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia are becoming more vocal and assertive. They have a different market to focus on. Even South Africa, I wager that they are voicing out clearly because they can pivot their economy to the Far East. The world needs that multi-polarity for balance and actual freedom.

It always amuses me to read about Africans who defend the West day in, and day out even with all the information present.

That said, the actions of Western influence have eternally destroyed Libya. Libya which was pretty peaceful and safe is now divided across clans and militias. Meanwhile, Sarkozy and Co are enjoying in Monaco. An entire generation is in ruins.
