*WIKE WON THE BATTLE, BUT LOST THE WAR.* I'll explain myself in the following paragraphs: 1. On the night PBAT announced the state of emergency, a group led by the SP visited Wike at his residence. I don't know the purpose of the visit, maybe to felicitate with him on his perceived victory. 2. Some pictures taken when they were leaving made it to the social media, and a particular one out of them got my attention. 3. In that picture, while the rest were in a lively mood, Wike cut a forlorn look. I couldn't stop looking at that picture. It was heavily pregnant with meaning and I desperately wanted to midwife it. Why is he still sad, ṣebi his enemy has been removed? 4. The acts that followed the declaration ––the immediate swearing-in of the administrator, the attorney-General's pathetic defence, the desperate and high level lobbying of the assembly members to approve the declaration, and the shameful 'voice quorum' method adopted by the assembly in approving it––gave me the breakthrough with the picture. What's so important with the state of emergency declaration in a state that's not at war? 5. That was PBAT's joker to masterfully nail Wike. 6. While it seemed both PBAT and Wike wanted the same thing- to get rid of Sim and gain control of Rivers, PBAT was also out to get Wike, as his growing power was becoming a discomfort for PBAT. 7. Wike wanted Sim and his deputy out by impeachment so that he can instal his boy, the speaker as the governor, thereby still firmly controlling the state, but PBAT had a different plan. 8. PBAT's plan is to DIRECTLY own Rivers, and render Wike irrelevant structurally and politically. 9. While Wike thought he was enjoying the federal power all this while, PBAT was actually equipping him to self-destroy. 10. PBAT played along up until the court ruling and just as Wike was about to pull the final string for his boys to impeach Sim, PBAT shocked him with the state of emergency announcement, sacking not only Sim but every of Wike's associates. He didn't ẹspẹrrẹdit. 11. PBAT then appointed an administrator with a military background who knows the terrain and politics of the state to answer directly to him. This move cuts Wike's grip on the state and completely uproots his structure. 12. Wike knows he's in trouble. Having single-handedly destroyed pdp and fought really hard to become the most-hated man in the state, PBAT has just stripped him of his last honour as the godfather- a leverage he has been using on PBAT. 13. There's a saying that, before you go on a revenge fight you must dig two graves. WIKE, already a persona non grata at home and about to be politically and structurally rendered irrelevant by PBAT, arrogantly dug only one and buried his enemy there. Where would his own remains be buried now? 14. There's only one true winner here and that's PBAT, the master of the dark arts of politics. 15. Why is the control of Rivers so important? Economic - Rivers have largely been funding all Presidential elections in the country since Peter Odili |

If Wike is fired as FCT minister, he's finished. He becomes Oshopikin after Obaseki defeated him. Wike cannot dare make any trouble for Tinubu as it stands. His only way out is to follow my last thread. |

DomPerignon:RIVERS: TINUBU’S SOLE ADMINISTRATOR MOVES TO IMPOSE UNCONSTITUTIONAL LGA APPOINTMENTS Fresh concerns have emerged over an alleged plan by President Bola Tinubu’s Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas to announce new Local Government Area (LGA) Administrators tomorrow, despite the clear provisions of the Nigerian Constitution and the recent Supreme Court judgment affirming the autonomy of LGAs. This move, if carried out, would amount to a blatant disregard for democratic principles and a violation of the Supreme Court’s ruling, which reaffirmed that local governments must be governed by elected officials, not handpicked appointees. Sources indicate that names of supposed administrators have already been compiled, raising fears of an orchestrated attempt to subvert the will of the people. Such actions could plunge the local government system into further crisis, setting a dangerous precedent for executive overreach. Nigerians must remain vigilant against this unconstitutional maneuver, as it threatens the foundation of grassroots democracy. Any attempt to impose unelected administrators on LGAs must be met with firm resistance from law-abiding citizens, political stakeholders, and civil society groups. Will the rule of law prevail, or will impunity reign? The next 24 hours will be crucial in determining whether democracy holds firm or is trampled upon. |

The op is deluded Wike still has the trump card. Wike holds federal might SIM card holds nothing in fact he's in exhile. In six months if SIM card doesn't comply with the original T&C, Wike can still set the ball rolling. APC has sunk a bite into PHC they won't let go. Wike will soon decamp fully and don't discount Fubara cutting a deal and does the magic Jagaban na baba ![]() |

You can't have 2 captains on a ship. Wike has surely lost control, though he still has some influence. But that's not what he wanted. He wanted control because anybody can have influence, but only one person can control, hence his desperation to topple fubara and his dep. Now, he can only plead to the ears of the sole administrator for favours only, just like every rivers stakeholder, and not prerogatives, like a man in control. The only oga the sole admin knows now is Tinubu. |

I do not like tilumbu but he is good at playing dark politics So from the wiked one controlling rivers directly, he would have to go and lobby to have his say with the new sole administrator just like every other person. Tilumbu doesn't need the wiked one for now , the wiked one needs Tilumbu like blood If after six months he doesn't brow beat fubara into submission, there would be more problems esp an extension of the state of emergency. There maybe more unrest to perpetuating the elongation of the state of emergency Tilumbu and the wiked one are playing a complicated game of cheese and 2027 would show who has the final cards because whether wike is able to deliver or not, Tilumbu would not want to keep him because of how power drunk the wiked one is as his wings would need to be clipped. Believe it or not, the wiked one has burnt to many bridges to keep his standing with APC, If he is stripped of his ministerial post, he has almost nothing |

RZArecta:He knows what he's doing, and his work online is to deceive people till Wike falls into the pit dug for him since 2022. Of course they will laugh at us the people who are losing our oil revenue to fund Federal political experiments. Its all a plot by Lagos to keep other southern states in turmoil so they can grow. |

IPOBs by all means will create illusion and start believing it to make them feel happy! Wike is like de-factor president now! I’m 100% certain that if fubura know that it will get to this length , he won’t dare toe that part! The first governor after making so much noise that he will defeat his enemies tday then was bundled out of government house the next day! |

Funny enough I agree with you. I’ve expressed same view to close pals. State of Emergency in Rivers is Wike’s loss. Fubara may have his own losses too but Wike is the biggest loser. First, when they come back after 6 months, I don’t see the possibility of the House Members continuing with impeachment proceedings against Fubara. Everybody will just see them as the aggressors and I don’t think it will augur well with them. That means Fubara finishing his tenure like we told the fools who were expecting Fubara to be impeached. And lastly, who even said a retired military General is ‘Wike’s boy’? That they have a couple pictures together doesn’t make him Wike’s boy. Who is Wike to give instructions to a retired Rear Admiral of the Navy? Like you said, Tinubu may have played Wike. |

gare:Face your 5 plots. Wike controls at least 40% of Rivers State votes. Wike can't be silenced. There is no politician living in your five plots today that has the capacity of Wike. We know where the hatred is coming from. Wike will defeat you people again and again. |
