We all know what we are not doing ABI how e take dey talk am
The peace we are enjoying now is because the governor is somehow a pacifist and also an Ebira if power had shifted KC would've gone up in smoke due to festering issues- this is the situation and my brother wants to test something which outcome we can't determine. Just last year, the former SA on Domestic Affairs to fGYB was abducted and uptill now his whereabouts remains unknown.

At the bolded, I think you should stop mis informing the public and over rating Nigerian influence in the international system. This is not your Nigeria of the 70s, 80s & 90s where we projected influence and dominance across our national boundaries.

For a start, what do you mean by the statement that the BRICS organization has failed to take shape because Nigeria is not on board?
In Africa, you have South Africa, Egypt and Algeria with a more bigger GDP than Nigeria who are all BRICS member countries except Algeria. Ethiopia might even overtake Nigeria as things stand now.
Just this year Nigeria became BRICS partner member which is different from membership.
For Nigeria to become a member, South Africa must give her approval.
Fun fact: Nigeria applied for BRICS membership in 2023.
Meanwhile, countries like Algeria(another BRICS partner country) and Uruguay are already members of the BRICS New Development Bank. This is the engine room of BRICS, where countries get the economic dividends of BRICS. Naija no dey dis list.

Even smaller countries like Niger are already calling our bluff in the West African subregion. No dey live in lala land, because I get am before no be property
I know you're a Russian tool but you're dumb. Denmark and Mexico have been calling the U.S' bluff, but California alone has the economic might and influence to decimate both.

No policy historical works in Nigeria without taking Nigeria into account. South Africa, Egypt, and Algeria only overtook Nigeria in GDP when dollarized due to our Naira being floated and depreciating, but via sheer trade volume and diversity of stock, none comes close to Nigeria.

Stick to your Russian propaganda. Wading into the depths of global or continental socioeconomics would drown you.

Your country? I didn't know you're not a Nigerian anymore. Lol

With all this, I still wonder why things are the way they are in Nigeria. Yes, I know Fintech and even tech in Nigeria is huge, but it's as if it's impact is ineffective, judging by the way things seems to be getting out of hand, day by day, not to talk of the our Power sector, which seem be going up and down, as if a JSS 3 student is learning how to plot graph.
I hate to break it to you, man, but the IT sector (which fintech is a part of) has been the biggest contributor to our GDP since 2018. More so since 2022. Nigeria has been 60% based service economy since 2022. The U.S. over 70%. The fintech sector combines production and services. Without the fintech sector and other such related sectors, we'd be doing worse than we are now. My assertion is supported by the quarterly National Bureau of Statistics reports since 2021.

We should be thankful for fintech and the IT sector. I wish I could share an article I wrote about it for a foremost book club debating it with some seasoned socioeconomists late last year. Maybe I'd mention you somewhere else to share it.

Idiot. Once dey catch u with misinformation you go change mouth. No be the same GDP u take know say California pass Mexico or Canada.
We don't care why and how South Africa, Egypt and Algeria take overtake Naija. Fact be say their economy is bigger than Nigeria's. Simple.

Nigeria have nothing significant to offer BRICS that South Africa, Ethiopia, Egypt, and Algeria cannot offer. Stupid guy said BRICS is failing to take shape because Nigeria has not gotten on board. Biggest joke in 2025.
Before you come online to post ignorant comments on the cyberspace at least do research. Enlighten yourself.

BRICS is failing. The world has resorted to adopting China's digital RMB payment system along with SWIFT.

Knuckleheaded dimwit, I never stated Nigeria has the largest economy in Africa. If you don't show me where I did, may women continue to knock your empty skull on buses.

I stated Nigeria is the most influential country in Africa. And it's the truth backed with statistics. I never made mention of GDP.

DissTroy:
LOL. He's not even top 5.

You might not like Tinubu and I don't too, but whoever is Nigeria's GCFR is Africa's 001, be it a BAT or a goat.

1. Nigeria
2. South Africa
3. Egypt
4. Ethiopia (arguably)
5. Kenya

In that order. Rwanda isn't even the most influential in East Africa, not to mention Africa. You should really study contemporary African socio-politico-economics.
"Influential" is the operative word, not GDP or other such socioeconometrics. You invented the GDP argument like the cancerous growth you are. I literally do research work and get paid to write such articles for influential platforms with evidence. Topics like this are my forte. Always have been.

Cursed be you a gazillion times and over for daring to go against your mental overlord! Stick to your simpleton-esque back-and-forths. Just because we frequent the same corner of the cyberspace doesn't mean you should smear my space with your idiocy.

How can you say you're not talking about economy yet you bragged that Lagos economy will fund annual budget of some African countries??
That over 65% of tech venture capital injections bla bla bla in Africa ended in Nigeria?

Your education is a waste.

..."That reinterates the point. The Lagos economy alone is humongous enough to fund the annual budgets of some African countries.

In the last decade, more than 65% of all tech venture capital injections from foreign VCs to Africa have been into Nigeria"...
"BRICS is failing to take shape partly because Nigeria hasn't been onboarded. Nigeria gets onboard and you have most of Africa in the bag."
Tell us how BRICS is failing to take shape partly because Nigeria hasn't been on board that is your comment that I quoted & not your most influential bull crap & 001 nonsense.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m):
The worthless effeminate micro-brained hermit thinks I'd quote him any longer.

You still can't mention where I stated GDP in my initial comment.

And since you're dumb enough not to know Lagos' economy alone is larger than the economies of Guinea-Bissau, São Tomé and Príncipe, Seychelles, Gambia and a few other African countries by sheer trade volume and other indices, in that case, you aren't worth my time. I'm not going to educate a featherbrain who googles on the go. I double-dare you to do a comparative econometrics to disprove this.

Instead of wasting your time on Niaraland spreading Russian propaganda daily, pick up a book or surf the internet to read from informative and fact-based sources. Read! Prove the stereotype wrong that young people don't read.

Nope. Not even close. We are a mostly sevice-based economy like the U.S. and Estonia. If not for the contributions of the ICT Sector to our GDP, NIgeria would be broke.

U just dey shalaye. I no need make you quote before you drop explanation.

"BRICS is failing to take shape partly because Nigeria hasn't been onboarded. Nigeria gets onboard and you have most of Africa in the bag."
Obviously, you have comprehension problem.
You talk about Lagos economy funding the annual budget of some African countries, that BRICS is failing because Nigeria is not on board. Bragged about tech venture capital coming to Nigeria. Yet you're not talking about economy and GDP? Illiterate Akpan forming intellectual.
If you are not dumb you would have known that South Africa and Egypt which are BRICS member countries have a bigger economy than Nigeria. Even Algeria too. Your Lagos economy can only play against countries like Gambia, Sierra Leone etc.

"That reinterates the point. The Lagos economy alone is humongous enough to fund the annual budgets of some African countries.

Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, and now Francophone countries sending representatives to study our fintech ecosystem which is truly advanced then replicating it. Those driving the replication are Nigerians even.

In the last decade, more than 65% of all tech venture capital injections from foreign VCs to Africa have been into Nigeria.

Nigeria invariably controls the West African subregion, and West and Central African countries depend on Nigeria for their economic life force. No other African country has this much control."
Nigeria have nothing significant to offer BRICS that South Africa, Egypt, Algeria and Ethiopia cannot provide. As a matter of FACT Na South Africa go even decide if we will become BRICS member or not. Just like we need their support to become G-20 member country.

Next time you go check well before posting nonsense comment here.

This is very very disappointing coming from you. Words can't express my disappointment with this kind of sentiment. This is truly surprising coming from you and very careless.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 6:09pm On Mar 23, 2025
Your candidate (who was also my candidate) didn't become President. Nigeria's leaders haven't lived up to their positional duties.

Your angst with the results of the Elections has made you bitter. So bitter you'd vehemently argue anything which puts your country in the positive spotlight, even when the beamed light of positivity is backed by solid facts.

- Nigeria does more trade volume than the countries mentioned.
- Nigeria's fintech ecosystem is the largest.
- Nigeria's has demonstrably more hold on the SubSaharan subregion than any other country. Not even Egypt controls North Africa as much as Nigeria controls or has a hold on other countries.
- Nigeria has the largest markets for these countries so in a trade war, they take a hit.
- Lagos is the startup capital of Africa.
- Lagos, with a GDP of $29 billion, has a more robust economy than about 12 African countries. Only Cairo surpassed Lagos recently.

You'd know all of these to be true if you spent your time away from eating Putin's excreta, and feeding your mind with intelligent information.

You can dwell in hatred all you want, but statistics and facts trump whataboutism and the drunken vituperations of a man-child any woman can beat up.

As far as African BRICS member countries is concerned, especially countries like South and Egypt, Lagos or even Nigeria have nothing, like absolutely cannot compare. Whether in economy, security, education, infrastructure, military.
We all dey here when Nigeria threatened Niger with military intervention to restore constitutional order. Oasis ran his mouth that amotekun operatives will overrun Niger military. Wetin later happened?
Stating facts does not mean I'm bitter because my candidate lost presidential election. This is not the first time my candidate is losing election.

If you are enlightened, you should ask yourself does these countries have the amount of human and natural resources we have?
Why are they at the top?
Do they have oil and gas?
Why is their economy doing better than Nigeria?
Can you compare their national minimum wage and that of Nigeria?
Do they have criminal herdsmen terrorising farmers?

You wan make I dey hype Nigeria when Naija is failing in all sectors?

What he said is what most of us know about the entertainment industry and how sex for roles work

Like some weeks back I shared a story told to me by an aspiring Yoruwood actress and it's not different from what Jide Kosoko said here

Some people will always ask for sex and if you value your dignity, you walk away from them and their roles, but if you're the all way na way person then you might see it differently
