I am pro-Fubara but I support the 6 months suspension of both the governor and the Assembly members since they were not ready to work together. Fubara cannot work without the cooperation of the members of the state house of assembly. But those idiots at the state house of assembly preferred to serve the interest of Wike rather than the interest of the people. The 6 months suspension is enough for them to settle their differences and agree to work peacefully together. If the two parties are still unwilling to work together in peace for the progress of the state and we don't see them making public announcements that they have settled their differences and are willing to work together then they should be ready to remain indefinitely suspended. Before the state of emergency was declared, those who have eyes could see anarchy and destruction looming in Rivers State as a result of the political crises between the governor, Wike and the assembly members loyal to Wike. To be fair to Tinubu, I really don't see any better course of action he could have taken to prevent the looming anarchy and destruction in the state other than what he did! 1 Like 1 Share |
