APC is fraud like Islam, so I have shallow reasoning because I poked you hypocrisy, like I said, APC is like Islam, thrives on lies and deceit.
And then you replied and confirmed all doubts. Very very shallow thinking. How do manage to stay alive?

They mocked Peter Obi for going to Egypt to learn about the same thing 2 years ago. Now 2 years later, they're copying him. Took them 2 whole years to realize what Obi had seen barely few months to the election! That is VISIONARY LEADERSHIP!!
Don't mind those dimwits. Their brainless supporters in this platform such as ngeneugwenu, Yarimo, Helinus and few programmed bots will never see bad and condem it. APC keep making it easier by exposing their hypocrisy and propaganda, 2027 by God's grace, Nigeria will right the wrong

You guys should stop mentioning obi in any sensible conversation na.
This is not joke session pls.

Because the FG wants to emulate egypt in area of power generation, transmission and distribution does not mean they are copying obi.

So, if balablu decided to put on black attire for an event tomorrow, you people will say he is copying obi abi?
You are a big fool!
You will reap the rewards of your contribution in destroying this country. You and your unborn generations will not be spared.

Obi was talking nonsense just as the minister is talking nonsense as well.
Egypt doesn’t possess any new technology or expertise. They are spending more money and employing people who has the technology.
You can go to Egypt, China Australia and Canada to learn whatever but nothing will happen if don't put your money down and employ competent people.
Do you even have a Nigerian passport....or even obtained any visa since the last 10years. I no blame una...Nairaland na cruise

We've always had the human resources required to solve the problems of this nation. Politics is the real problem. Of course, our top brains leave and become more productive in other nations that value diligence and enterprise without nepotism, tribalism and other useless sentiments.

Egypt is investing billions and getting experts like Siemens to help them. We need to do the same, Egypt is not going to teach us anything we didn't know.
God bless you, my brother.

Egypt approached Germany Siemens too build 3 x5000MW plant in 27 months at the cost of $7 billion

How would you know what I have seen and what I have not seen.
I only expect a minister with all the resources available to him to know better.
We know the problem with electricity and I don't see how Egypt can help us.
If your car broke down you go to the mechanic, you don't go to your cousin whose only experience is that his car also broke down a month ago.

Unless you are going to borrow money from him of course.

Why national grid in the first place if not politics, the over extension of the transmission lines is what is causing both the high line losses and the resultant collapse we experience incessantly

We can comfortably have regional grids with generation plants to reduce the burden, why generate electricity in Nigeria state and transmit to Akwaibom?

emkz:
The problem is not generation but wheeling capacity.

The grid system is old and inefficient which leads to frequent system collapses.

In my view, we need massive capital investments in a new grid system. As much as possible, we need to decentralize the grid.

In terms of generation, why is there no offsore wind farm in the Niger Delta? Why can't we task IOCs to produce gas-powered plants to serve the entire nation and build the grid system in exchange for a certain number of years of crude oil? Similar things can be done for other critical infrastructure.

As for the minister of power, we have professors of power engineering, researchers, critical stakeholders, and investors. Convene a national energy conference of these people. Review the existing energy template. Improve on it and revise it for the next 20 years. Then put it into legislative backing and follow the template. Stop working like a rudderless chicken and talking as if we lack expertise in Nigeria.

My Brother the thing shock me when I saw the news, the same thing they mocked PO for. The same news APC fan boys were masturbating all over the Internet for in 2022.
did they not oppose fuel subsidy, but today they have removed not only fuel subsidy but all forms of subsidy
They oppose state of emergency but today they did not only declare it but went a step further to demolished all democratic institutions
They asked if 200naira to a dollar is OK but today its 1590 to a dollar down from 1750
There many more examples of their lies and deceits just to grab power, which unfortunately they don't have the competence to use for the common good

They don't know that Obi was as foolish as an Almajiri going to sit in Professor's office to become an engineer. He didn't know that he must study and be admitted, pay fees ,attend lectures and properly pass exams to graduate as an engineer.

And you think Adelabu is someone that knows what he is doing? Equating him with Obi is a disservice to Obi.

What do you want to go and learn in Egypt when you can just give the contract to a reputable firm to help fix the situation at a cost?

I am beginning to believe that politics and governance are two different things that one can be a genius in politics and be a dunce in governance. It might be true that PBAT had no plans whatsoever and only told Nigerians that it was his turn. He removed subsidy cause he heard other contestants say so but he couldn't copy their implementation plans, hence he put the cart before the horse.

However, I love how he is teaching the north politics and putting them in their place.

APC had no plan and nothing to offer. They lied to Nigerians. I pity those who will vote another 4 years of cluelessness and economic hardship in the name of religion and ethnicity.
