I remember when Nelson Mandela came out of prison, there was pressure from the US to distance himself from countries like Cuba because they were the enemies of the US, he refused...In recent years, there has been talk about South Africa having good diplomatic relations with Iran and Russia and some Republicans went on to raise it in a meeting with AfriForum (I will ignore why Republicans and Afrikaner Nationalists are discussing South African international and national matters in Congress when we have diplomatic relations with the US).

My question is; should we hate Iran because the US and Israel hate them? Should we hate Russia because Republicans before Trump did? Should we hate Ukraine because Republicans suddenly hate Zelensky? Is communicating with all parties not neutral?... Do you or Republicans even know what being neutral even means?

In the scheme of things, we all lose alongside AfriForum and Solidarity who won't be exporting food to the US and the US will also lose a neutral country at the tip of Africa.
