Have run the numbers; they look good, especially for dogs that can also serve as "security personnel". Also have the space available at my home to start up a small kennel for dogs.

Just one snag: I'm scared of dogs myself!

Also not helped by scary tales I've heard about security dogs that have gone wild and turned on their owners, even after years of training.

What do you think? Should I go for it? If you've overcome this fear to start your own dog business, please share the tips that helped you. Would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Why exactly are you scared of dogs?
Because of what they told you about dogs?
If so you may have been misinformed
Dogs are lovely creatures to be around and before you get one I'd advise you do a thorough research on your breed of choice

Get a well-bred dog (not mixes from mixologists) and most likely get a pup

Dogs aren't monsters
You just have to make sure you're getting the right dog for you
And investing in dogs is quite different from most other livestock

You don't get rich quick with dogs
Cos for the first half you'd be investing heavily

Joking aside, your fear will quickly disappear because of frequent exposure to the dogs!

you have not even started keeping dogs and you want to go into breeding
