I spent the night at one hostel, my friend's room with about 8 or 10 other boys in fact we had to sleep on the balcony, some were sleeping on what's meant to be the aisle


There were rooms without doors, there were some without windows or both

In fact rats, big rats were jumping over us without any reservation whatsoever...

The way they were all used to it, like it's nothing, the boys and the rats

That was when and why I decided never to stay in a school hostel as an undergraduate, I wouldn't imagine

Anyway, no matter how angry you are, facts is facts. You don;t have to let facts make you angry and bitter.

Apart from the hostels run by the school administratives, Unilorin allows private firms build hostels on campus which usually are very expensive. These hostels are very nice, exquisite. However the one that the school is running isn't that bad too - with porters working every now and then to maintain it. As at when I was in school, a space in the school hostel went for 30K while private hostels went for as much as 250K.

Our schools were never built to allow foreigners school here. The highest you get is one or two non Nigerian academicians. Not much more.
Thats why a lecturer can stand and be saying A is for God and B for lecturers.

Nigerian gov nothing concerned with what will benefit the masses but dia own immediate needs
