17.5KM EGBEDA-OMERELU ROAD COMPLETED, SET FOR COMMISSIONING!

The 17.5km Egbeda-Omerelu Road, a vital link in Rivers State's transport network, has been fully reconstructed and is now set for commissioning. This road, approved by Governor Siminalayi Fubara on May 21, 2024, during the commissioning of Egbeda Internal Roads, is another testament to his administration’s commitment to infrastructure renewal.

For travelers from Omoku axis heading to Owerri, this project offers a much-needed alternative route, eliminating the need to pass through Elele. The improved connectivity is expected to enhance trade, ease movement, and boost economic activities within the region.

Governor Fubara’s administration continues to deliver on its promise of meaningful development, ensuring that critical roads across the state are not only rehabilitated but also strategically designed to improve accessibility and convenience for Rivers people.

Can we just stop building single lanes in this country? It's not safe driving on such roads. Even if you care about your own safety, you are not sure of the upcoming vehicles.

Now that the road has been created, who will commission it?
Because I still see a lot of projects still going on in parts of Port Harcourt, like the ring project is still very much active at Port Harcourt-Aba road

How you go construct a whole 17km of single lane road? What kind of play is that? They should have made it two lane.

Anyways, at all at all na em bad pass. Still better than the entire ZERO road the Agulu fraud built during his 8 year tenure as Anambra governor.

This is the kind of statement that makes politicians receive accolades from full grown men and women after enticing them with promises of good roads like this one lane road.

Some roads just have to be single lane. Many factors are responsible for determining how many lanes should a road be.

Fubara is not a noise maker. His works speaks for him unlike the other man in Abuja any little thing he will call all the TV stations and radio stations.

Fubara was moving Rivers in right direction by using money for road and not maintaining a political structure that serves some phantom Abuja ambition.

Beautiful question for all the 36 governors plus the FCT minister, since their predecessors failed to prioritise employment for government amenities, services and utilities.

Well said sir.

APC only knows how to increase tax burden on the people and borrow money to be repaid forever because of their a-looter progreThief ways.

Their Lagos city boy template has made the city into a scamdemic slum.
