This life ehn. Pride goeth before a fall.

So all the crude oil from the South East doesn't even add up enough to the quantity of crude oil produced in Lagos yet all the VAT keeps going to South East and some ungrateful folks from the South Eaat call other Nigerians parasite. Empty barrels make the loudest noise. Smh..

Lagos State will catch up and overtake others ahead of it on this list some day.

The SouthWest is the future of Nigeria's petroleum industry. Very soon, Ogun State will join this list.

This is why we need more investments in oil and gas investments in Lagos State.
Invest in Lagos today.
May God bless Nigeria for ever!
You are correct bro. Badagry area is an oil rich LGA, in fact each time there is heavy downpour, my friend do experience traces of droplet oil at his backyard, as for Ogun state, there is an area called Togaji, rich in oil,

Anambra produces 100,000BPD with so much prospect of producing more. Anambra has over 15 oil wells and they are all onshore wells which makes it more accessible and very undiluted crude......

Everything is a source of senseless intertribal fights and insults these days. Sometimes I wonder the kind of retarded brains some of the people making these comments have; and these arent even kids. huh
truth is, I blame the govt. What effort has the Nigerian govt done to unite her people? Completely nothing. It pays dem so they can remain in power.

I expected president Tinubu for a long time before now to have addressed this inter tribal squabble that became worst under his govt. Reno Omokri running his mouth everyday dividing the people just to remain favourable to the govt.

I actually read this same article from BusinessDay with a neutral mind and was a little bit surprised but impressed that Akwa Ibom is the highest crude oil producer. Only for me to open the thread on Nairaland and witness the mendacious and crude tribalism by Nigerians.

Tomorrow, these are the monkeys that will cry of racism!

Nonsense and ingredients!

Ngozi123:
Blame APC. Nigeria has always had a tribalism problem but it has become progressively worse ever since APC was created.
Agreed. It started in the pre-2015 electioneering. APC is a demonic party!

Industries that are into production of good and also employer of labour which pay billions in taxes and PayE to the government?

Just adenuga glo pay more taxes to the govt than the whole petty okrika 2*2 shop scattered everywhere 🤣🤣🤣

You keep boasting of developing and paying taxes in other region while your tiny 5 plot of barren land that is largely predominantly yiibo can’t even generate what oyo state only is generating as revenue.

Sometime I just wonder where you flatt heads get this over bearing sense of useless self hype? We have called off your bluff several and ask you to take your businesses back to your barren region and let Lagos suffer since that as always been your wish grin

But we all know a typical Nya Miri is a empty noise maker grin you can’t survive without yorubaland grin btw proudly Lagos

Anambra has not even a teaspoon of oil, but no worries, your matter will be like a man in a Yoruba proverb that made 100 raise beds of yams but said he made 200. When he’s done eating the real 100, he will also eat the other imaginary 100.

You elected a Cook as a Governor and he takes your money to build Tower at Victoria Island, Lagos and practically does nothing in the State apart from attending events and bleaching.

What did you expect? I have invested lots of money in that state, expecting it to take off but your last governor stole 700 billion and the present one will steal over a trillion.

Revolt and stop being comfortable keke riders, you are robbed.

I will answer you briefly though I know the person will reply you.

RENO OMOKRI once said the IBOS always throw punches but cannot absorb punches. Immediately you throw punches at them they go haywire. We have read few days ago about Anambra becoming the 5th oil producing State above EDO and Ondo States. We all saw your brothers comments and insults.

You asked if Lagos has become like Johannesburg or Kigali? I have visited Jo'burg and Congo (Kinshasa) but not Rwanda. I know Rwanda population is not up to Lagos. Everybody except IBOS and few other people know Lagos would have been more developed than Jo'burg if the Whites have stayed longer in Nigeria and if the YORUBAS have allowed the British destroyed the entire Isale Eko to develop their proposed Downtown Business District.

If Lagos had been an independent country, it would have been better than Jo'burg, Kinshasa, Addis, and Cairo and would have been the 4th economy in Africa. Your brothers and population congestion and long years of unitary system of government created problems for Lagos and it continues till date. Lagos development is not determined by Lagos people. For several decades, Lagos have no developmental agenda or plan until Tinubu became governor and he fought Federal Government throughout his tenure. At Accra and Jo'burg that Nigerians were having problems few years back it's because they don't want you to spoil their cities the way they spoiled Lagos.
Lagos had no developmental agenda for decades before Tinubu yet LKJ built low cost housing estates all over the state, he designed and implemented a light rail system but was canceled when the military government took over in 1983.

You guys will just wake up and start creating stupid lies just to praise your god Tinubu and attribute credits he does not deserve to him.

Look at the same Lagos 18 years after your god left power and tell me the developmental strides witnessed or what he created aside the bogus IGRs you lots squirm about.
