But he didn’t announce the results of the Election which was the reason for the Protest that cost the protesters their lives
they were killed demanding for the election results to be announced

Prof Nwosu was up against men like Gen Abacha who had no hesitation to kill anyone including Nwosu

But relatives of those 150 protesters who were killed would not see it that way

Senator Solomon Adeola during the debate on the motion to immortalize Prof Humphrey Nwosu on Thursday in the Senate narrated a painful incident which resulted in the death of his immediate younger Brother, which he blamed on the actions and inactions of Prof Nwosu.

He insisted that because of that, Prof Nwosu should not be immortalize as he doesn't deserve such an honor, even in death.

Prof Nwosu was the Chairman of National Electoral Commission which conducted the June 12, 1993 presidential election.

Nwosu should have announced the result and declare Abiola the winner of the election. May his soul RIP.

It was years after under Jonathan or Yardua he eventually announced the full result and declared Abiola the winner. He should have rush the result because he already had the full result with him. He should have called out the full result and declare MKO as the winner of the election.
